Since the terribly gruesome news of the bizarre and outrageous carnage in Santa Barbara first broke last Friday, there have been a NUMBER of unusual and suspicion-arousing aspects to the entire nightmare, which have drawn our attention.

Firstly, I have direct and personal knowledge of and familiarity with the exact location this vicious slaughter took place: a densely-packed, mostly student community adjacent to the UCSB campus and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Though a rather idyllic setting, the un-incorporated area attained a certain notoriety as the site of one of the first mass student demonstrations of the 60s-70s "counter-culture"; during which the local Bank of America building was burned to the ground by protesters; more recently, its been known as a fairly wild place for students and other partygoers to let it all hang out and rock around the clock -- in between all that studying, of course.

Surely, it's fairly safe to say that this community has NEVER experienced the kind of mind-blowingly extreme violence which occurred there last Friday; and there are some interesting and pertinent facts about this area which could very well have direct bearing on the astonishing and ungodly carnage and slaughter unleashed in Isla Vista.

To begin with, the UCSB campus AND the community of Isla Vista are on the site of a U.S. military installation which was quite active during WW 2. Keep in mind that nearly EVERY U.S military facility has an UNDERGROUND: keep in mind also that in fact the U.S. military virtually NEVER "gives up" or relinquishes a military installation completely; but almost always retain SOME degree of ownership (either overt or covert) of the property, often through holding so-called "mineral rights" so that existing subterranean facilities can be retained and further developed, or new undergrounds constructed even after the property has changed hands -- above the surface, that is.

Therefore: it IS completely and totally within reason to consider that such underground facilities, maintained and operated by the U.S. government, DO EXIST beneath the UCSB/Isla Vista/Goleta area.

I can attest from direct personal knowledge that there are several buildings still existing on the UCSB campus, which date back to the days when the location was a military base. These buildings stand out like a sore thumb on the campus; they appear to have no connection to normal university operations; they appear locked and shuttered, with few if any people ever seen leaving or entering. Several of these buildings are near the university's Science buildings.

What gives?

There is, as WELL, every reason to at least consider that such subterranean facilities would almost CERTAINLY connect (probably via high-speed underground rail links) to nearby Pt. Mugu Naval Air Warfare Station (site of the TRULY suspicious AlaskaAir Fl. 261 downing last year) as well as to Vandenberg Air Force Base, directly up the coast from Santa Barbara. Vandenberg is KNOWN to be the site of the LARGEST "acknowledged" underground military installation in the ENTIRE United States.

Well? So what, you might say?

Wait: it gets worse.

The community of Isla Vista is in fact technically part of the city of Goleta, although through some kind of bizarre apportioning, the UCSB campus, like an island, is on land apparently owned by the city of Santa Barbara yet surrounded by the city of Goleta. I can personally attest from years of direct observation while living in this exact area that there is something ODD about this fact, and it seems possible the reason behind it is a continuing military/government presence and ownership of subterranean "rights" beneath these areas.

Goleta is IN FACT home to a rather impressive number of federal government DEFENSE CONTRACTORS. In this respect, Goleta is rather similar to Littleton, Colorado.

One of the largest and more well-known (or is that notorious?) defense contractors located in Goleta is RAYTHEON

Raytheon has been a prominent defense contractor for YEARS, working on such projects as the "Star Wars" missile defense system and other high-ticket items; but more recently, Raytheon has been linked to ANOTHER area of VERY advanced, ultra-hi-tech research and development in -- guess WHAT? -- electronic MIND CONTROL.

Raytheon has in fact become subsumed into a conglomerate of major defense contractors, which now belong to the genuinely infamous and scary E-Systems.

This company, IN FACT, has on file with the U.S. patent office a NUMBER OF PATENTS for ELECTRONIC MIND CONTROL DEVICES, which IN FACT, actually WORK.

It's almost certain that if underground installations and connecting tunnels/links etc. do exist in this area for use in covert government activities and operations, the major defense contactors in Goleta would be linked in as well.

Raytheon's Goleta plant is DIRECTLY ADJACENT to the community of Isla Vista; in particular to the privately-owned dorm building known as Francisco Torres, where lived the perpetrator of Friday's "Columbine with a car" episode, David Attias.

In the massacre at Columbine High school on April 20, 1999, the two who apparently did at least SOME of the actually shooting, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, were CERTAINLY on mind-control drugs that day: drugs which GREATLY facilitate the programming of such unfortunate subjects via EM/RF, subliminal and other mind control techniques and procedures.

IN FACT, though both were tested for various drugs during their autopsies, the exact drugs that were almost CERTAINLY found in their systems were never made public.

David Attias, the person who eyewitnesses say DELIBERATELY accelerated his car to FREEWAY speeds and aimed it squarely at oncoming pedestrians on the densely crowded Isla Vista streets, was almost CERTAINLY on mind-altering drugs of some kind at the time. Eyewitnesses at the scene, as well as police and paramedics, are virtually unanimous on this point.

Attias refused to have drug or alcohol tests administered and they had to be administered forcibly. The police said that results would be made public within several days.

We're still waiting. Very likely, Klebold and Harris were under the influence of specific unknown, HIGHLY-CLASSIFIED drugs that have been developed ESPECIALLY for the facilitation of various mind control procedures.

WHAT kind of drugs WAS David Attias taking when he slaughtered four human beings with his car as if they were nothing but bugs?

Much has been made of the fact that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were at LEAST dabbling in Satanism as well as Nazism (Hitler worship) and other disturbing, cultic things. Research into the Columbine massacre by the NewsHawk team revealed that MANY of the (covert) government's mind control operations in fact inculcate such Satanic/Nazis beliefs into their subjects/victims, by means of ritualism, indoctrination, imagery etc. This is done for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the sense of alienation and isolation created in the subjects with respect to the "everyday" world, and incompatibility with society as a whole.

Those who stood in horror as the carnage unfolded in Isla Vista and who witnessed the behavior of David Attias as he was taken from the mangled, twisted wreckage of his vehicle are UNANIMOUS in stating that Attias was literally foaming and frothing at the mouth as he spewed SATANIC statements and words CONTINUOUSLY. Attias seemed possessed of superhuman strength as NUMEROUS bystanders attempted to quite him down and restrain him until the police arrived.

People at the Francisco Torres dorm who knew Attias considered him strange: Attias claimed he "HEARD VOICES " and even "talked to 'God'."

Shades of Kip Kinkel, who slaughtered his fellow students in Springfield, Oregon while under the influence of mind-altering drugs. Kip heard voices, which told him to kill.

David Berkowitz -- known as the "Son of Sam" -- who slaughtered a number of people in New York City in the late 1970s, claimed he heard voices too. Berkowitz claimed after being arrested that a "dog" (the Satanist's "god"?) told to kill; but in a prison interview given just a few years ago, Berkowitz revealed that at the time of the mass killings, he had become part of a vast Satanic network which included agents of the U.S. intelligence services, which was involved in programming mind-controlled killers to carry out incidents of terror and savagery throughout society.

Something is INDEED VERY, VERY WRONG with the entire picture of the horrendous vicious brutality that occurred in Santa Barbara, as it's now taking shape. Something tells me very strongly that David Attias, like Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Kip Kinkel and so many others, was/is a mind-controlled killer programmed in some horrifying mind-control operation by shadowy, clandestine intelligence and military agencies. We feel its very likely Attias was somehow or other programmed, while under the influence of mind-altering chemicals, to viciously crush some of his fellow human beings to death.

Attias didn't use a gun like those at Columbine, rather a car. But the end result is much the same; certainly for those who actually WITNESSED the unspeakably grotesque tableau as it took place before their very eyes.

Timeline of tragedy in Isla Vista

2/28/01

FRIDAY:

*A Francisco Torres resident sees UCSB freshman David Edward Attias, 18, at the dormitory around 10 p.m.

*A car traveling about 60 mph sideswipes nine parked cars on Sabado Tarde Road and plows into five pedestrians, killing four, just after 11 p.m.

*Attias, the alleged driver, is caught on videotape after the incident screaming and trying to start fights with bystanders. Several eyewitnesses reported that he referred to himself as the "Angel of Death."

A crowd surrounds Attias and attempts to detain him until authorities arrive.

*A California Highway Patrol officer arrives on the scene and takes Attias into custody after subduing him with two baton blows to his legs.

*Albert Arthur Levy, 27, survives the accident and is taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with serious injuries.

SATURDAY:

*As news of the incident spreads through Isla Vista, students set up makeshift memorials to honor those who died. The identities of two victims are released: UCSB student Nicholas Shaw Bourdakis, 20, and UCSB student Christopher Edward Divis, 20.

*UCSB holds a moment of silence during its nationally televised basketball game against Pacific.

SUNDAY:

*The identities of the other victims are released: City College student Ruth Dasha Golda Levy, 20, and San Francisco resident Elie Israel, 27. Levy is Albert Levy's sister.

MONDAY:

*Attias is charged with four counts of murder and four counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, plus five counts of driving while under the influence of drugs causing great bodily injury.

*An estimated 4,000 people attend a candlelight vigil for the victims.

TUESDAY:

*Attias' arraignment in Superior Court is continued to March 6.

Isla Vista Aftermath Enough grief to go around

The arraignment for David Edward Attias was postponed Tuesday in Santa Barbara County Superior Court. The delay did not stop his parents from expressing their grief for the families of the victims their son is accused of killing and maiming.

"We're both just struck by how hopelessly inadequate any words could be," Daniel Attias said outside the Courthouse as his wife, Diana, sobbed by his side. "But on behalf of my wife, I just want to say how heartbroken we are for everybody who's been affected by this."

Attias, an 18-year-old UCSB freshman, allegedly drove his 1991 Saab at speeds estimated at 60 mph down a narrow Isla Vista street lined with people late Friday. When it was over, four pedestrians were dead and a fifth was critically injured and nine cars were damaged.

UCSB students Nicholas Bourdakis, 20, of Contra Costa County, and Christopher Divis, 20, of Vista, died instantly along with Santa Barbara City College student Ruth Levy, 20, of San Rafael, and her friend, Elie Israel, 27, of San Francisco. Levy's brother, Albert Levy, 27, survived and remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Monday, the District Attorney's Office filed 13 felony charges against Attias, including murder, manslaughter and driving under the influence of drugs.

The Santa Monica resident has been described as eccentric by neighbors at the Francisco Torres dormitory where he lived. Attias displayed none of that behavior in court during the brief hearing. He sat quietly by his defense attorney, Robert Sanger of Santa Barbara, and looked over to the audience. Sanger requested a one-week delay in the proceedings, which was granted by Commissioner Deborah Talmage. He did not specify a reason.

Before the proceedings, Sanger walked over to relatives from the Levy family who attended the hearing and expressed his condolences on behalf of his client's parents.

Daniel Attias, a Hollywood director whose credits include such hit television shows as "Ally McBeal," reiterated the sentiment in a brief, emotional statement before a throng of television cameras outside the Courthouse.

"This is a very horrible tragedy and we know it's affected not just the loved ones and the families of the victims, whose grief must be unspeakable, and we extend whatever compassion we're capable of," he said as he struggled to hold back tears. "But we know it has left a terrible, terrible gash in this whole community and we can't begin to tell you how saddened we are."

As the Attias case embarked through the court system, Levy's parents began the grim task of preparing for their daughter's funeral.

"Everyone's absolutely devastated," said Bruce Ziegman, Levy's uncle. "It's complicated by the fact that Ruth's brother is still in the hospital. Her mother has this strange calm about her. She has so much to do, and is handling it all.

"But this is just about as terrible as it can get."

As one family prepares to say their final goodbyes to a loved one, investigators with the California Highway Patrol continue looking for answers to explain the senseless rampage that stunned the densely populated Isla Vista community.

Nearly 50 people have been interviewed in an attempt to piece together David Attias' day leading up to the tragedy he is accused of causing. Further, the CHP's specialized Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team, or MAIT, is gathering physical evidence from the scene, examining the condition of the roadway and interviewing people to reconstruct the fatal events.

"They are creating a timeline to track his activities up until the incident," said CHP Capt. Bob Clements, the area commander, who would not comment on their findings.

Investigators also are analyzing the condition of the vehicle at the time of the incident, including whether the radio was on, the condition of the tires or if anything was found inside the vehicle. Ultimately, the information will be turned over to the District Attorney's Office, Clements said, adding that the process could take anywhere from two to five months.

"We want to submit something that is complete and thorough, so we'll take the time to do that," said Sgt. Christopher B. Day, team leader for MAIT.

The CHP also is awaiting the results of a blood test that has been sent to a state Department of Justice laboratory. The results of the toxicology test are not expected to be known until sometime next week, said CHP officer Mike Muell, a department spokesman.

Santa Barbara slaughter: a working hypothesis -- Area long considered planetary "Power Point"

The working hypothesis, which underlies our investigation into the mass murders in Santa Barbara, is as follows.

The possibility is being considered that David Attias is a mind-controlled, "Manchurian Candidate"-type, programmed assassin or killer; as we contend has been the case with a number of other youngsters responsible for incidents of mass murder.

We've laid out the supporting facts and conditions about the Santa Barbara area with respect to the recent mass murder incident in previous articles.

What may be significant as well is that the Santa Barbara region has long been considered to be a so-called planetary " Power Point " not only by the original American Indian inhabitants of the area (who by the way knew of and utilized numerous caves in the nearby hills which may WELL have been connected via tunnels), but also by numerous cultic mystery schools and so-called "White Brotherhoods" (Illuminati, maybe?). Extensive links, connections and areas of correspondence between these so-called mystery schools and clandestine intelligence agency factions are undeniable and extremely well documented.

One thing that comes to mind in this regard is that similar conditions and factors also exist at Montauk, New York; were massive control experimentation was carried out by military and intelligence agencies on the grounds of a military base constructed directly on a planetary "Power Point"; above an extensive pre-existing network of tunnels and caves which the original Indian inhabitants considered very sacred land.

Evidence shows that a great many military facilities are in fact constructed on the so-called planetary "Power Points". Evidence also shows that many military facilities which ostensibly have been closed, decommissioned or abandoned by the military /Federal government are an actuality NOT shut down. Often it is found that clandestine projects are being conducted at these locations.

It's quite likely that ownership of these locations is retained by the government in some fashion or other because they are indeed earth grid "Power Points", and are therefore especially valuable or useful in certain ways. It would seem very possible that such a scenario may in fact prevail in the Santa Barbara area and may well be a factor in the horrendous events that unfolded there a few days ago.

S. B. Slaughter: Nearby Vandenberg AFB underground HEAVILY involved in gov't/mil mind control projects!

In the book-length report "PHOENIX UNDEAD: The Montauk Project and Camp Hero Today", in the section "CONNECTIONS TO RELIGIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS / SYSTEMS -- the Mormons"; a a well-known Mormon singer named "Sue Ellen" who corresponded with us was quoted extensively as follows about some of her experiences growing up at Vandenberg AFB in Santa Barbara.

"First off, I am one of 13 children. I am also a professional singer. I have three CD's and 9 cassettes that I have produced for the Mormon (LDS) music market. I am kind of famous in my market and have won what you might call 'Grammy' awards. My albums sell all over the world.

"I was raised by Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County, California. My sisters Eve and Louisa have worse stories than mine, but let's just say we've all experienced some crazy times.

"...We were the 'perfect' large Mormon family. My dad was a music teacher. My Mom produced babies almost every year that I remember growing up. I was the second mom by the time I was six years old and learned how to cook and do laundry. My Dad was apparently into child pornography and 'sold' us to the government.

"...Louisa, one of my sisters that worked for the Pentagon, just told me about another memory about Vandenberg AFB where she remembers being hooked up to this helmet with wires.

"She got sick when the memory was coming up. She's had so many of them, she knows what to expect now and gets through it all better than she used to do.

"My family is a nightmare. Anyway, Louisa ended up working for a man that was third from the top at the Pentagon. She worked as his assistant and decoded top secret government files (all in Disney and Alice in Wonderland, etc. language), and made reservations for his regular trips to Santa Rosa where he would meet his buddies at the 'good ole' boys' fart club there. You've probably heard of Bohemian Grove. She was 'losing' time on occasion and was eventually raped by this man. When she tried to go through even the proceedings to indict him, she was unsuccessful and bullied. She quit the armed services and has had a family of six children. She is just now waking up to what has happened to her and the memories are surfacing. I am worried for what they may have programmed into her when she wakes up!"

This testimony (I have had direct contact with this respondent on several occasions and found her to be exceptionally credible and trustworthy), and that of a number of other "MK" victims, establish conclusively that Vandenberg Air Force Base, not far up the coast from the UCSB campus where last Friday's mass slaughter occurred, is POSITIVELY tied to massive, extensive, long-term, ongoing mind-control experimentation and operations.

We feel we have shown that its highly reasonable to consider that Vandenberg AFB IS NOW linked to the subterranean covert FedGov/military facilities which almost certainly underlie the UCSB/Isla Vista/Goleta area, on the site of an old WW2 military installation, and that the incomprehensible and extraordinarily vicious mass murder that just occurred at UCSB, perpetrated by one David Attias, is directly related to current FedGov mind-control operations in this area.

"A part of our objective here is to limit the success of such operations in the future, by according them widespread publicity ..We also hope to alter the institutional mindset that U.S. Intelligence can be trusted. History, repeatedly, has proven otherwise."

In February 1974, Georgetown University's Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted discussions on the plight of dissenters in the Soviet Union, and on the means by which the U.S. Government might most effectively intervene. Highlights of these discussions are reported in Understanding the Solzhenitzyn Affair: Dissent and its Control in the USSR (CSIS, 1974).

KGB strategies were addressed in some detail during these discussions. It was noted that the KGB's success depended on the extensive use of informant networks and agents provocateurs; and, following Brezhnev's rise to power, on the use of drugs and psychiatrists for further purposes of manipulation and control. Shadowing, bugging, slandering, blacklisting and other related tactics were also cited as serving KGB purposes. Participants in the conference agreed that the KGB's obvious intent was to divide and isolate the populace, to spread fear and to silence dissenters.

Agencies of our own government are on record as having employed precisely these same tactics on a recurrent basis. The Church and Rockefeller Committee Hearings in the mid-1970's purportedly put an end to these practices. Based on recent developments, it would appear that the CIA's and FBI's Operations MKULTRA, MHCHAOS and COINTELPRO (the focus of these Senate Committee and Vice Presidential-level Hearings) were instead merely driven underground. We are now in contact with a total of 34 individuals, scattered throughout the United States, who firmly believe they are being harassed by agencies of the U.S. Government. Others have been brought to our attention whom we will be contacting in the future. The majority of these individuals claim that their harassment and surveillance began in 1989.

The methods reportedly employed in these harassment campaigns bear a striking resemblance to those attributed to the CIA and FBI during Operations MKULTRA, MHCHAOS and COINTELPRO. The only difference now is that electronic harassment and experimentation also appear to be (more blatantly) involved.

The Berlin wall is down. Communism is in the midst of a death rattle, and the KGB no longer poses the threat which purportedly served to justify the U.S. Government's resort to such operations as MKULTRA, MHCHAOS and COINTELPRO. The KGB, since 1989, has been reduced to an increasingly distant memory.

Reactivation of surveillance/harassment/mind-control operations in this country suggests that the KGB, as an institution, was never the real threat. A KGB "mentality," with it's underlying pragmatic contempt for civil liberties, appears, instead, to have been the driving force behind MKULTRA, MHCHAOS, COINTELPRO, and the operations now being reported to us.

The KGB "mentality" is a matter of personal predilection, not ideology. It's objective is power and control, regardless of the human cost. It is a corrupting, cancerous influence, which feeds on fear, conformity and government funding.

Four months ago, when this Project commenced, we approached these complaints of government harassment and experimentation with an admitted "high degree of caution." We are no longer skeptical. The growing numbers of independent complaints and the similarities between those complaints cannot be ignored. Under the circumstances, the KGB should be proud of itself. As a "mentality," the KGB appears to be accomplishing more in "burying this country" from within, than it could ever have hoped to achieve as an institution. It would appear that this country has a serious problem on it's hands which needs to be resolved.

Part I of this report, which is reprinted from the June-July 1992 edition of the Association's publication, "Unclassified," preliminarily addresses the complaints brought to our attention as of July, 1992. Our objective as noted, was to weigh the legitimacy of those complaints in terms of the directed-energy technologies reportedly involved. Part II discusses the overt and covert patterns of harassment identified as a result of our investigations, to date. A part of our objective here is to limit the success of such operations in the future, by according them widespread publicity.

In Part II, we do not identify individuals by name, both to honor their privacy and because our investigations have not been completed. Part II, like Part I, is a preliminary finding. Our focus is on the similarities of the complaints being received- similarities which Federal and State legislators, the courts, the FBI, local law enforcement agencies, the medical and psychiatric professions, and organizations such as the ACLU and Amnesty International have so far chosen to ignore.

We frankly find it curious that more attention and credibility is being accorded purported victims of UFO experiences and spectral visitations, than to persons who complain of systematic harassment and experimentation by the U.S. Government, involving technologies which the U.S. Government is only now grudgingly admitting to possess. These complaints require investigation. In due course (and provided financial support is obtained), we hope to be able to acquire the technology and supportive medical expertise needed to substantiate the claims being made. We also hope to alter the institutional mindset that U.S. Intelligence can be trusted. History, repeatedly, has proven otherwise.

The August-September 1991 issue of UNCLASSIFIED reviewed Hamline University's Public Administration report on the resolution of MKULTRA cases in 1988. Although the shocking details of medical ethics abuses by the U.S. and Canadian governments were amply detailed, Washington and Ottawa-citing national security and government privilege-stalled for so long- that the cases never came to trial. The surviving victims settled for a pittance in an out-of-court settlement.

Since no individuals or agencies were held legally accountable, the door was left open for possible resumption of similar "mind- control" activities.

In the context of that article, we mentioned briefly that some half-dozen people had contacted us with appeals for assistance in ending what they believe to be electronic harassment and mind- control experimentation, possibly involving the CIA. We decided to take a closer look at this situation.

We are now in touch with approximately a dozen individuals located throughout the United States who appear to be targets of harassment and mind-control experimentation involving directed- energy technologies. [By mid-November 1992, that number had increased to 25.]

Typically, persons who complain of being "zapped by radio waves" and of "hearing voices" are stigmatized as psychotic, delusional or schizophrenic. Being mindful of this as well as aware of the treatment accorded UFO and psychic phenomena "freaks," we approach this subject with a high degree of caution. Based on our preliminary investigation, including interviews with the affected individuals, we conclude that the matter is serious and should be pursued further.

Our first step was to determine what, if any technology, exists which might be used for electronic harassment. That information was found in a "white paper" published in 1991 by the U.S. Global Strategy Council- a Washington-based organization, under the chairmanship of Ray Cline, former Deputy Director of the CIA, who maintains very close ties with the U.S. Intelligence community. The "white paper" describes the foreign and domestic uses foreseen for laser weapons, isotropic radiators, infrasound, non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse generators, and high-power microwave emitters.

The term, "non-lethal," used to describe this technology is misleading. The energy emitted from all of these weapons can kill when appropriately amplified. At lower levels of amplification, they can cause extreme forms of physical discomfort and debilitation.

The Department of Army (DA) identifies these same weapons as "non-conventional." They were so identified in an exhibit at a DA-sponsored symposium on "The Soldier As A System," in Crystal City, VA, on June 30, 1992. Beta wave incapacitators were separately mentioned during the symposium as being of particular interest to the U.S. Marine Corps.

We discussed these "non-conventional" directed-energy weapons with Mr. Vernon Shisler, manager of the exhibit and the Army's delegate to NATO in matters pertaining to "The Soldier As A System." Mr. Shisler acknowledged not only that directed-energy weapons are in DoD's arsenal, but also that the American soldier will remain vulnerable to their effects, should they be employed in the battlefield.

The U.S. Global Strategy Council recognizes the issue of vulnerability, as well, and urges ongoing research into effective countermeasures.

Research into the biological and psychological effects of exposure to microwave radiation is voluminous. The U.S. public has been led to believe that the former Soviet Union leads in this research. The fact is, the CIA and DoD [Department of Defense] have jointly pursued precisely the same research since commencement of Project Pandora in the 1950's. The current primary users of this research appear to be the CIA, DoD, the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Energy (DoE).

The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) has participated in this research since Project Pandora. In 1973, WRAIR discovered that externally induced auditory input could be achieved by means of pulsed microwave audiograms, or analogs of spoken words' sounds. The effect on the receiving end is the (schizophrenic) sensation of "hearing voices" which are not part of the recipients' own thought processes.

The experiment prompted the following comment in The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of life, by Robert 0. Becker, M.D., and Gary Selden (Wm. Morrow & Company, NY, 1985): "Such a device has obvious applications in covert operations designed to drive a target crazy with 'voices' or deliver undetectable instructions to a programmed assassin."

This research has continued and the results are published in various publicly available scientific and technical journals. Interested readers might consult, for example: Lin, James C., Electromagnetic Interaction With Biological Systems (Plenum Press, NY, 1989). Professor Lin, then with the Department of Bioengineering, University of Illinois, Chicago, has published a number of books and articles on this subject. He has more recently informed us that he had designed the experiment referenced above in Dr. Becker's book.

WRAIR has more recently been studying the biological effects of exposure to high-power microwave radiation. WRAIR presented a paper on this subject to a DoD sponsored symposium on "MW [microwave] Weapons" at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. mid-1989.

A matter of interest to us is why WRAIR should be experimenting with auditory effects of pulsed microwave audiograms. Also, recent statements by an Army psychiatrist assigned to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) suggest that WRAIR may be experimenting upon select psychiatric inpatients with microwaves. This, too, is a matter of interest to us.

The Government's past record of abuses in the area of civil rights is well documented. Within the past years alone, we have witnessed the effects of Operation MKULTRA, MHCHAOS and COINTELPRO.

Primarily because of MKULTRA, MHCHAOS and COINTELPRO, Executive Orders and implementing regulations were published which prohibited militia and CIA domestic covert intelligence operations. Experiments on involuntary human subjects, and the surveillance of / collection of personal information on U.S. citizens, except under strictly regulated conditions were also prohibited.

Congressional committees were created to oversee compliance with these (quasi-) legal prohibitions. We have evidence that this is not being done. Moreover, where there are laws and, in this case, no laws enacted, there are loopholes, as well as individuals and institutions who deliberately capitalize upon the existence of loopholes. Iran-Contra is one of the more blatant recent examples. Loopholes are also found in government resort to "black' intelligence and weapons programs, the use of contractors, and in the absence of definitions of such terms as "national security" and national security risk."

Executive Orders and regulations which currently limit official U.S. Intelligence activities do not extend to non-intelligence government agencies or to their contractors. In fact, Executive Order 12333 specifies that government contractors do not need to know that their services support U.S. Intelligence objectives.

In its report of July 8,1992, the Senate Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management addresses the problem of tracking- funds granted to government-contracted research and development (R&D) centers. The report notes that the problem is compounded by- DoD's penchant for creating hard-to-monitor "shell" contractors as disbursement centers for funding programs.

Neither shell contractors nor their subcontractors arc directly- accountable to Congress. Being beyond Congressional oversight. they have the license to operate as Government surrogates in intelligence operations about which, "officially," they know nothing.

In this context, a publication disseminated at DA's "The Soldier As a System" symposium noted that the Army's Research and Technology Program sponsors 42 laboratories and R&D centers, employing approximately 10,000 scientists and engineers. The annual budget of $1.3 billion is only a small part of overall DoD research spending.

Weapons research, which includes the development and testing of "non-lethal" weapons, is not governed by laws restricting the activities of U.S. Intelligence agencies, though it may be presumed that these agencies contribute to and benefit from such research.

1. The technology exists for the types of harassment and experimentation reported to us.

2. About a dozen U.S. citizens have informed us of continuing experiences with effects which directed-energy weapons are designed to produce.

3. U.S. Government-sponsored research into the bio-effects of exposure to microwave radiation is extensive and continuing.

4. The U.S. Government has a past record of having engaged in mind-control experimentation, and various agencies of the Government have a record of circumventing legal restrictions upon their activities.

5. Neither Congress nor the courts appear willing to look closely into "black" intelligence and weapons procurement programs.

6. A number of U.S. Government agencies might have interests in testing directed-energy technologies on U.S. citizens under non- clinical/non-controlled circumstances- DoD, to test ranges and degrees of "non-lethality"; DoE, to explore "safety" limits; CIA to test "mind-control" capabilities, and NSA, for technological refinement.

Since publication of the preceding article less than four months ago, the Association of National Security Alumni/Electronic Surveillance Project has heard from an additional 22 individuals who report both overt harassment and a range of symptoms which coincide with the known effects of exposure to microwaves, electromagnetic/radio frequency (RF) radiation and/or infrasound.

The similarity of these symptoms will be addressed in greater detail in future Project reports. Suffice it to say, at this point, that the physical and psychological symptoms being reported to us are consistent with the effects which directed- energy weapons are designed to produce. Indeed, the numerous afflictions (or "inflictions") being reported appear to parallel standard torture "sequelae," (aftereffects).

Overt harassment-which obviously is meant to be observed-may be intended to "precondition" individuals for eventual long-term electronic harassment. Persons terrified by unexplained overt harassment are not likely to cope with the sudden onset of electronic harassment in any more reasoned fashion. This phased pattern of harassment is apparent in all of the cases now being investigated. The fact that the overt harassment continues in these cases even after the electronic targeting commences suggests that the objective is to maintain long-term extremes of stress.

Many of the overt harassment tactics discussed below are surfacing in cases which (so far) have not involved discernible forms of electronic harassment. These are cases involving so- called "whistle blowers" who, because of their inside knowledge of certain potentially newsworthy events, pose particular threats of embarrassment to the Government or to government- affiliated employers. We have noticed that electronic harassment is beginning to surface as a form of retaliation against persons who try to assist electronic "harassees." Retaliation suggests loss of control. Under the circumstances, we are not entirely confident that "whistle blowers" will continue to be exempted from this type of harassment in the long term.

The news Website alterNewswire has posted three more unreleased maps of the scene of the Columbine massacre (20 April 1999). These maps exist only in the evidence room of Jefferson County (Colorado) authorities and have never been seen by the public until now. Randy Brown, father of Brooks Brown (who was a Columbine student at the time of the shooting), was allowed into the evidence room, where he took pictures of the secret maps with a digital camera. He has given those images to alterNewswire, and they are now online.

alterNewswire's publisher-editor, Russ Kick (author and editor of five books, most recently, Everything You Know Is Wrong) says that these maps expose important lies being told by the authorities. He explains: "One of the maps, which is referred to as number 4 on the Website, shows the trajectories of bullets fired by law enforcement into the school library, where most of the students were killed. The authorities have always claimed that they never fired into the library, but now we see that this is absolutely not true."

Kick discusses map 5: "This one shows evidence that was retrieved in the front office. What is this evidence, you may ask? We don't know, and that's what makes this map so important. Each piece of evidence is identified by a number, like D-28, but those numbers are not in any of the material released by the authorities. With each new release of documents, Jefferson County swears up and down that they've finally released all of the material on Columbine. But besides the obvious fact that they haven't released these maps, we can also tell that they haven't released evidence logs pertaining to these items."

What about map 6? "This one is in the same vein as map 5," Kick says. "This time we have an unreleased map that identifies the location of eyewitnesses who were outside during the massacre. But these people are identified only by numbers, like Y7. Once again, these numbers don't show up in any documents that have been released. Who are these witnesses? What did they see? Where are their interviews? We don't know. As usual, vital information is being withheld."

New Book Reveals Other Shooters at Columbine

"Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris weren't the only gunmen," says Russ Kick, editor of Everything You Know Is Wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Secrets and Lies (The Disinformation Company, 2002)

On April 20, 1999, the worst school shooting in American history occurred at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. In the end, twelve students, one teacher, and two gunmen lay dead. Though early news reports quoted eyewitnesses talking about more than two gunmen, we were soon told that the massacre was perpetrated by only two individuals--students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

In November of 2000, Jefferson County (Colorado) released 11,000 pages of raw documents relating to the investigation. The release was covered by the media, which noted that the documents contained new insights into the killers' motivations, the deaths of specific students, and other aspects of the tragedy. However, the press scrupulously ignored the amazing number of reports from eyewitnesses who saw people other than Harris and Klebold taking part.

Russ Kick's article "Witnesses to a Massacre: Other Participants at Columbine"--available only in the book Everything You Know Is Wrong--breaks the silence. It contains verbatim extracts from the written statements and police interviews of 45 students and faculty whose accounts throw into question the official version of events. Among the revelations:

* Several students in the cafeteria and on the soccer field saw a young man dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt throwing bombs during the attack. (Harris and Klebold were dressed in black trenchcoats and black pants.)

* Five students identified by name another student as being a perpetrator. One even made eye contact with him while he was shooting.

* Four students who were barricaded in a science room offered stunningly similar descriptions of a gunman they saw through the small window of the door. He was in his mid-twenties to early thirties, short, stocky, and muscular, with cropped hair that was either blonde or black with blonde tips. One student even provided a sketch of this unknown man (which is published for the first time in Everything You Know Is Wrong).

* Other students reported seeing a suspect wearing camouflage pants. One witness saw this person shoot teacher David Sanders, who died a few hours later.

* Several students, a teacher, and a coach reported the presence of a gunman on the roof of the school.

* Three students heard the shooters referring to one of their accomplices as "Joe."

* Several students reported seeing other gunmen, including three shooters in the cafeteria simultaneously and someone with a gun crouching in the bushes near the school.

* A teacher and two library staffers reported hearing gunshots between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, although Harris and Klebold are officially said to have killed themselves at 12:08 PM.

* Further eyewitness statements involve a pickup truck slowly circling the parking lot during the rampage, a student who was arrested at the scene (whom the authorities have never discussed), the assistant principal naming "Ned" as a perpetrator, and other pieces of information that don't fit into the official story.

"When I first saw these statements, I was stunned," Kick said. "My previous book had an article about early media coverage of the Columbine shooting, so I knew there were many reports of other people taking part. But reading the raw documents and seeing the details takes it to a whole new level."

What about those who question the validity of eyewitness testimony? "That's certainly a concern," Kick replied. "But when you have three or more eyewitnesses separately describing the same thing, it's pretty powerful. For example, there's amazing consistency among reports of the bomb-thrower in the white tee-shirt. And several of those kids saw him causing havoc alongside Harris and Klebold. In other words, they saw three perpetrators at the same time. That's quite persuasive."

Is there any other evidence that more people were involved? "Definitely," said Kick. "There was only so much time and so many pages I could devote to the case, but there's a lot more." Such as? "Since turning the article in, I've found even more eyewitness reports indicating more than two gunmen. Then there are the media reports from April 20 and the days immediately afterward, which tell a very different story. As far as physical evidence goes, there are bullets and bullet fragments from the crime scene that don't match the guns used by Harris, Klebold, or law enforcement personnel. Then we have all the evidence that's being withheld. The authorities have released the autopsy for Eric Harris but not for Dylan Klebold. They've released the autopsies for two students but not for the other ten or for the teacher, David Harris. There are missing ballistics, evidence, and eyewitness reports. There are maps of the crime scene that have never been released, which have been leaked to me. They show that, contrary to what we've been told, the authorities fired into the library--where almost all the students were killed--and into classrooms where, according to the official story, Harris and Klebold never were. Sounds like they're hiding something, doesn't it? "Oh yes," Kick replied. "There's no doubt that they're refusing to release a lot of material. The only question is why. And I can only think of two reasons. Either the authorities haven't told us what happened that day, or they're hiding their inept handling of the situation. Or both. The parents of two slain students and one student who survived that day are on record as saying the authorities are lying about Columbine. I quote them in my article. And since my article was finalized, parents of two more deceased students have said the same thing."

Will we ever find out what really happened? "I wouldn't bet on it," Kick said. "Then again, there are a number of people who are refusing to let the secrecy and lies stand, so there's hope yet."
