I fear not. Just take a look at this
Elections '06 chart and note
how Sun/Venus/Mercury in Scorpio are all meshed together, blended, conjunct in
3rd House Communications
that fine day and ALL in Square aspect to a 6thy house Neptune in Aquarius.
Now, don't deluge me with emails about "negativity"
just consider all the signs.
There will be a Negative Neptune "Spin" on these elections masking the Truth of the Neptune/Aquarian computer counts.
Remember, the ruling planet of Aquarius, Uranus, is now in Neptune's own sign Pisces and the Moon in Gemini will be Squaring that Uranus all day long on election day. The Moon Masses (all of us voters) will be "hyped" & "spun" by the Fascist Media Cartels reporting the votes .... Florida 2000, Ohio 2004 etc. And your "average" American on anti-depressants will be highly "confused" by the challenging square Venus in secretive Scorpio will be making to Neptune in computer friendly Aquarius spreading confusion of values and masking voter's choices.
But the dead giveaway is Retrograde Mercury conjunct Venus in Scorpio also Squaring Neptune in Aquarius.
This is muddled thinking plain & simple. Obfuscation. After all the work of good
investigative journalists like Greg Palast & many others it should be evident to us that our government both "democrat" & "republican" is complicit in these voting machine frauds. And despite
Palast & others urging us to vote I think such a gesture is nominal/symbolic at best, and complicity gullible in its actual essence. Why vote when you know your vote will be manipulated by way
of the "secret" agenda both mainstream parties are following? Nostalgia? Denial in the face of the starkly obvious?
Look how Saturn, symbol of the established "status-quo" sits on the Ascendant in Leo with the Courts & Judges of Jupiter in secretive Scorpio squaring it.
This is the "good cop" (Jupiter) challenging the "bad cop" Saturn in a "false display" of struggle. The conclusion of such a struggle is "rigged" & pre-arranged since Saturn in trine aspect to Pluto has all the Power. It's Pluto in Sagittarius Power, ...it's Court Power, Progaganda Power. Jupiter itself squares the Ascendant-Descendant line of this voting/voters chart from fixed & secretive Scorpio to fixed Leo and Aquarius. These elections are fixed as well. The conclusions are "in the bag" as are the results. Those results will be whatever the "status-quo" has pre-determined they shall be. Pluto is, after all, in excess quincunx relationship to the public results of the fixed Taurus Midheaven in this chart and it squares both the Nodes of the Moon. The habitual, default Lunar South Node is in
Neptune- ruled Pisces revealing that the foregone conclusions to these elections are known by all us Moon Masses ...."We the People". We are being lied to and manipulated and we know it. We are symbolized by the Moon in Gemini quincunx the Scorpio force of Mars and square to the shocking apathy of Uranus in Pisces. This arrangement overwhelmingly short-circuits Uranus by submerging its shock value in the mists and waters of Pisces -while Neptune as ruler of Pisces, but currently in Aquarius, squares the Sun essence of the elections, its Venus choices and its Mercury ballot. Push any button you like, write in your vote, pull any lever and Choicepoint, Diebold and Company will render your action obscure, change it, refuse to record it.
Today is Friday, September 29, 2006 and if I'm not terribly mistaken the Senate has passed legislation granting Bush the right to suspend all rights to anyone he declares to be a "terrorist". He has just publicly proclaimed again today that ANYONE who questions his obscene policies is aiding the 'terrorists" ....and the so-called "Patriot Act" has already made that an offense which renders those who commit it "enemies of the state" who have no rights and may be arrested, imprisoned, tortured and abused or killed as he sees fit. It disappears people, beginning with the poorest and those with the lowest "public visibility profiles".
Voting is a farce at this point in America, it's a REVOLUTION that's called for and only a revolution will change things. No? Oui? I can't begin to imagine what such a "revolution" will look like, though Afghanistan and Iraq seem to offer a clear picture .... but I think we are in the time of Sartre's "NO EXIT" soon -if not now. Cut & run, escape to another country will soon be altogether impossible, and for the poor this is already the case. Indeed, the revolution will not be televised because for 6 blatant years it has been televised but all in CODE, and "anti-depressant" Americans with acute attention deficit disorder and severe cognative dissonance syndrome cannot break the code. Silence is far from golden under these circumstances, it's rotten. Of course, I've got Pluto sitting on my Sagittarius Moon at this point and have been reading Becket's plays: Waiting For Godot, and Endgame. So I can be dismissed, good friends, as "absolutely negative". However, I do see the current scenario as delightfully dark, deliciously obscene, and darkly hunorous. Bitter chocolate elections, yummy!

Okay, so when I stated that:

I was WRONG
because the Lunar South Node is, in fact, in VIRGO and it is the Lunar North Node that is in Pisces.
But, you see, the natal USA Neptune IS IN VIRGO, and it is transiting NEPTUNE currently in Aquarius that is ruling the current Lunar North Node in Pisces and that is SQUARING (to the exact (17+degree) the Retrograde Mercury in the elections chart.
That MERCURY is the ruler of the current Lunar South Node in Virgo
AND
that same MERCURY is the planet ruling Natal USA NEPTUNE in VIRGO.
So, we get the same (or an even more convoluted and Piscean negative ? affect) effect.
Progressed USA SUN has entered Pisces.... and Pisces symbolizes the BOND OF FAITH AND TRUST
that unifies a People and a Nation.

America has become a country terrified of fantasy and imagination. It confuses real Spirit with make-believe, drugs, and paranoia. Culture and Art are predominantly frozen in atrophied forms that leave a flat taste in the soul. Public gatherings of any kind other than protests (which I support and sometimes participate in) are as hard to come by on the streets of this Nation as is a pure, care-free heart. Evasive actions, paranoia and fear are permeating our social gatherings, and when they are not in evidence there's usually some extreme group process going on where one group is denouncing another in vulgar, exaggerated ways totally lacking in consideration or simple kindness. We are being skillfully groomed into polarized segments of the corporate body politic. Imagination, the sign and seal of Spirit, is everywhere under siege in the Land of Free Speech Zones. And so is Faith!
When I speak of Faith I'm NOT speaking of religious doctrines nor of the auto-reflex absurdities that American Self-proclaimed Xtians (such as members of 'Opus Dei', Dominionists, and folks like Bush, Rice, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld) mouth whenever they're about to invade another Nation or curtail the civil liberties of ordinary Americans. Faith is a gift of Spirit, a bond of trust each of us can feel with each other, with Mother Nature, with the whole Cosmos. Faith is what sustains us minute by minute and day by day while we walk about among each other, feel the wind and sun, the rain or snow upon our bodies and souls. It's a bond of Trust we feel with Life itself that makes living not only possible but wonderful.
Infants and small children are aglow with this implicit faith and trust. They don't fear their obvious vulnerability. They simply trust instinctively that they'll be fed, clothed, kept warm and protected, and be very much cherished and loved by the bigger, older humans around them. They have this gift called Faith, and its distinguishing marks are their vulnerability and their delight in spontaneously reaching out to Life. This is the Faith, the Imagination that Neptune symbolizes in astrology and that is under such constraint and even duress in the birth chart of America. Our culture tries to foist off on us a crude mockery of Imagination, Spirit, and Faith by way of those bizarre distortions called "In God We Trust" or "One Nation Under God" so that the only "faith" we will know is a credulous dependency on the Federal Reserve System and the "Pledge Of Allegiance". But Imagination, Faith, and Spirit cannot be regulated by interest-seeking banks, nor confined to one's own culture and political party or nation.
