1-1-7 Communists are the lowest form of life. We've been Communists since 1861. The Yankees, that is, and all who sympathize with what they did, which was wage aggressive war against people they'd already ripped off for decades. And then they ripped them off for decades after the war was over. That was Communism, American-style. Karl Marx was a big fan of Abraham Lincoln and wrote to him in praise of his war of aggression against people seeking independence from Yankee dominance, under the terms of the Declaration of Independence. But Lincoln was our Lenin. Grant became Trotsky. Sherman, Sheridan, Custer and the other generals were their Bolshevik killers who went on to slaughter hundreds of thousands of American Indians, who also wanted independence. This was the first state-sponsored genocide and it happened here. Since then, no independence movement has been allowed by our Red government, anywhere in the world. I joined an independence movement in an African country called Rhodesia, but that movement was also crushed by the US government. The American government is no more tolerant of independence than was the Soviet government. As I have pointed out many times, the American government created the Soviet government in 1917 and sustained it to its bitter end, and then supervised its reorganization in 1990. All Communist governments since, from China's to Cuba's, from East Germany's and all of Eastern Europe's to North Korea's, from Vietnam's to South Africa's, have been organized by the US State Department and/or the CIA. The hallmarks of Communist power after 1917, the things that made it different, were the psychiatric prisons and forced confessions of "crimes of disloyalty" that never happened. The most loyal and die-hard Communists were frequently executed by their own colleagues after they confessed to made-up charges. Party members were expendable and formed a valuable database for the control of the general population. This was revealed also by the American Communist, Benjamin Gitlow, in his The Whole of Our Lives. He wrote that party members were occasionally murdered by other party members and their deaths blamed on "reactionaries." The purpose was mainly to radicalize even more party members, and reinforce their fanaticism and fear. It was all about mind-control, and still is. Our churches do it, too, and our schools. The only difference is the level of fear needed for control. Most people only need a little fear to be controlled. America has lots of Communists. Bush and Cheney and their neo-cons are Communists. We all know that. But so are prison guards. Soldiers, marines and airmen, too. They just don't know it, because "they fight for freedom." Our police have become Communists, the way they lie and plant evidence and invade people's homes. IRS agents are Communists, along with just about everyone else in government - especially the FBI. The way our politicians take our money and pay themselves - at the point of a gun - qualifies them as first-class Communists. But anyone who is willing to kill for political power is what today we might call a Communist. The CIA got its original members from the wartime OSS. The OSS' membership was comprised of fifty percent members of the Communist Party USA (to gain the immediate cooperation of the French Underground). The American-built Soviet Communist machine finally ran out of gas and our military-industry gangsters lost their valuable and lucrative "enemy," which had to be replaced quickly. My wife and I watched a new movie the other night - "The Road to Guantanamo." It is the true story of several British Pakistanis from Tipton, West Midlands, who accompanied their friend to Pakistan, where he was to be married. This was a few weeks following 9-11. The wedding was cancelled and the young Brits had nothing to do and so, through several misadventures, wound up across the border in Afghanistan. There, they were quickly rounded up by the Americans and our puppet hoodlums, the Northern Alliance. Falsely accused of helping the Taliban, the men were placed in appalling SRO dungeons and then in the dreaded shipping containers, in which most of those with them died of suffocation or gunshots by American soldiers. The movie did not depict that hundreds of these victims actually cooked to death in the containers, left out in the hot sun for days. This was overseen by our wonderful boys, who were fighting for freedom. The lucky survivors, who included the British Moslems, were then processed and put into those bright orange jumpsuits with total sensory deprivation. Hearing and sight were deprived with ludicrous hoods, black-out goggles and hearing suppressors. Placed in ritualistic positions on the floor of a C-130, they were flown to Cuba, specifically Camp X-Ray, Guantanamo Bay. Here they were subjected to pure American sadism. That is, it was Israeli sadism administered by screaming American thugs, same as Abu Ghraib. The prisoners' entire life histories were already known by the American dictatorship, and so it was known months in advance that none of these prisoners was guilty of anything. And this was the whole point of the torture. My wife, a medical doctor, realized that these innocent guys were the subjects of a big experiment. She had seen the same sort of thing in Veterans Administration hospitals. That is, our entire veteran population is an experimental group. They have little choice but to submit to whatever procedures the government chooses for them, because they are Communists in a Communist system. She thinks that anyone who submits to the AMA priesthood is performing in one pharmaceutical experiment or another and should be paid by the industry. The first big American psychological experiment was the Korean War, in which our wonderful boys killed and were killed under the flag of the United Nations. That was an experiment right there, having American soldiers who'd grown up pledging allegiance to the flag, living and dying under the blue and white UN banner. No one complained that I know of. In league with our North Korean and Red Chinese puppets (they were, after all, put in business by the US government), American soldiers were experimented on in very unpleasant ways. Pavlov developed brainwashing in Russia under Lenin, doing his dog experiments on Russians and others victims of Jewish Communism but the ultimate targets are American men and "conditioned response" had to be tried out on them. It must have worked pretty well because the infamy of the Korean War was that no American prisoner of war ever escaped from a North Korean prison. Lots of them got away from the Nazis and even the Japanese, but not a one of them got away from the North Korean psycho-prisons. Except I knew one who did. Don G. was a mud engineer in the California oilfield when I met him in the late '70s. Someone said he'd been a prisoner of the North Koreans but wouldn't talk about his experience. He talked about it with me. Don and his group of forward observers were a little too close to the enemy soldiers, calling in coordinates for the artillery, when they were overrun. Most of his mates were killed but Don and a black sergeant from Houston were captured. Their ordeal became a nightmare that lasted several months. Both of them were interrogated and subjected to what became known as "brainwashing." Neither of them cooperated and both of them were beaten frequently. Other Americans who didn't cooperate were shot occasionally. Don and the sergeant were threatened with being shot and the sergeant told Don that if they didn't somehow get away they would doubtless soon be killed. Their crimes were an unwillingness to criticize their country in any way, even the Jim Crow policy the sergeant had experienced all his life. Misplaced loyalty! Brainwashing is a fairly simple procedure, it turns out. It does require the victim to self-criticize. Once he does that, he can be switched into anything the brainwasher wants. So to get him to self-criticize the brainwasher gets him to criticize someone else, eventually a friend and finally himself. The key to avoid being brainwashed is never to criticize anyone other than the one who's trying to brainwash you. That's what Don and his friend kept doing, and that's why the Koreans were going to kill them. Don and the other guy didn't actually escape from a prison camp but got away while in transit from one camp to another one in the dark of night. They dropped down in a depression in the path while the other prisoners trudged by. Then they headed south, for UN lines. Their first surprise was their reception by the American doctors, who were astonished that these two men escaped. They were the only ones. So the doctors interrogated them pretty heavily, trying to figure out their motivation to escape, since no one else had even tried it. Then they were sent to Letterman VA Hospital in San Francisco. Here, the psychiatrists seemed downright hostile and even offended that these two mavericks would get away from the North Koreans. Don was totally confused. His confusion soon turned to anger at his treatment by the army, which seemed to view him with suspicion. Over the next few years of hostile treatment and examination by army psychiatrists, Don became bitter, so much so that his wife divorced him and his family feared he was a brainwashed Communist. He was the exact opposite. But this is what happens to anyone who bucks the system in America - even an American. Back to the British Moslems. And the Afghans and Pakistanis and what other Moslems were kidnapped and tortured by the army. All of them are innocent, which is the point of what we are doing to them. We torture them to find out what breaks them down, so as to devise some formula, some database, for controlling all Moslems. These British guys somehow survived the sadism and were eventually released. Hundreds are still in our gulags, interrogated daily by American morons whose knowledge of Islam comes from Jewish television programs. The same questions are asked, over and over, month after month, year after year. Confessions are demanded to non-existent crimes, just as the Soviets demanded them. All that is really wanted is a delta factor, some change in behavior or renunciation of Islam, ideally - which never happens. The Jews very much want to unplug Moslems from their religion, or figure new ways to turn Moslems against themselves and self-destruct, as they are doing in Jewish-ruled Iraq. There are still five hundred or more Moslems in the US Naval prison at Guantanamo Bay. Ten of them have been charged with something and even those ten are totally innocent, compared with the Americans. The Brits were constantly ordered to confess to being members of "al-Qaeda," which most refused to do, even after the most revolting torture. They had no idea what al-Qaeda was or is. Only the CIA really knows what it is because "al-Qaeda" is a CIA word. We all were told years ago that "al-Qaeda" meant "base." I thought this meant base of operations, or fundamentalism or something deep. No. It means "database." Al-Qaeda is the CIA's computer list of mujahadin freedom fighters they were arming to defeat the Soviet occupiers of Afghanistan back in the '80s. Osama bin Laden was a paymaster and CIA-backed organizer of the fighters. The point is that the CIA knows exactly every name in the database because it's their database. To force these innocent Brits, or any other Moslems, to confess that they are in al-Qaeda is CIA-Mossad brainwashing and psycho-conditioning. It is pure terrorism, as described by George Orwell in 1984. No one has described what the Moslems are up against as well as Orwell did in the final climactic scene in which Winston Smith is tortured by O'Brien. O'Brien explains that the object of torture is not to gain information but only to inflict pain. The only way to know for certain that a person is really under your control is if he is suffering. What the Jewish Bolsheviks did to the Russians, the Jewish Israelis to the Palestinians, the Judaized Americans are doing to the Iraqis and Moslems everywhere. Orwell warned us that this was our future, and it is. He was just too polite to describe it properly as Talmudic Judaism, what I call Jewish Rule. On behalf of Jewish Rule, George W. Bush is conducting a merciless war of extermination against all Moslems. George W. Bush, as he revealed as governor of Texas, derives pleasure from torturing and murdering those under his total control. Read that 2000 Vanity Fair article in which he giggles and talks obscenely as he mimics Carla Faye Tucker as she begs for her life. This was about the time that he would cite Jesus as his inspiration. I must admit that the murder of Saddam Hussein, dressed up as a routine execution, left me speechless, but everything that George W. Bush does leaves me somewhat dazed and without the power to describe exactly what he has done, or why. Of course, Saddam was lynched on Bush's orders, before he could speak of his dealings with Bush's father. Saddam and GHW Bush reportedly shared billions of dollars in kickbacks from the Kuwaitis and from various oil companies engaged in the region. Saddam was reportedly a major owner of Mercedes-Benz and therefore the Chrysler Corporation, among many others. He was supported by Bush, then head of CIA under "Gerald R. Ford, Jr." (Ford's actual name was Leslie Lynch King, Jr.) Saddam became Iraq's president in '79, during Carter's reign, but worked for Bush against the Iranians throughout the Reagan-Bush years. GW Bush claimed he was angry with Saddam for trying to assassinate his "dad." But, as the ex-Mossad officer Victor Ostrovsky has revealed, it was the Mossad that tried to assassinate Poppy Bush in '91, when he and Baker threatened to delay the ten billion dollar Israeli "loan guarantees" because of the crappy apartment houses they were greedily building on Palestinian land. I know - all of Israel is on Palestinian land. But Saddam never attempted to assassinate Bush, Sr. - it was the Jews, as usual. The little moron knows this full well but is incapable of anger at Jews so he pretended anger at Saddam, who was supposed to be murdered instead of being captured and tried. The CIA was in charge of Saddam's arrest and for some reason allowed him to live and threaten the Bush family secrets. I believe that this act was behind Bush's decision to dismantle the CIA and give its job to Rumsfeld's Pentagon. Rumsfeld - the guy who worked with Saddam and supplied him with chemical weapons against the Iranians in the '80s. Saddam's murder was inevitable because he had to be silenced. His dignified, heroic attitude on the gallows has probably never been seen in our lifetimes, and may never be seen again - certainly on videotape. Some have claimed that we were actually seeing one of Saddam's doubles but that's not likely. But, whoever he was, he died well and showed the world the difference between a real man and an alcoholic mama's boy. As I predicted in an earlier essay, Saddam was subjected to Nuremberg-like treatment by his ski-masked enemies while the rope was put around his throat. Taunts and curses were yelled at him. Saddam's calm and manly comportment didn't give Bush anything to giggle about. George W. Bush needs to experience the same treatment that, when he orders it, gives him sexual gratification, probably the only kind he can get. He needs to experience Jewish Rule from the other end of the rope. So does Cheney and every other war criminal under them. Justice will be served only when Bush and his handlers are standing on the gallows in a smelly room, hard Manila ropes placed around their necks and the trap-doors let go beneath their feet. I dream of hearing the sound of their necks breaking. Only the sound of their necks breaking will stop the nightmare they have created for the Moslem world, and the nightmare they plan for us. Bush and his gang have committed the worst war crimes in history, with the use of depleted uranium ammunition. They have consigned millions of us to very bad deaths, with four million pounds of uranium dust blowing through our lower atmosphere. These monsters have already killed 700,000 Iraqis since Shock and Awe, plus thousands of Americans who helped kill them. The first Bush and Clinton killed over a million Iraqis with Desert Storm and their brutal starvation sanctions. The coming uranium deaths mean nothing to them. Kissinger, who is advising Bush, considers them stupid animals, pawns of foreign policymakers. There is another group of Americans that needs to drop through the trap door: The Zionist radio talkers. Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, the Savage Wiener and all the rest who have screamed and urged the destruction of Moslems. The Wiener wants millions killed now. All of them call for the nuclear bombing of Iran. These loudmouths talk and talk, knowing that their homicidal words please the Israelis. They need to be shown that their vile words have consequences. The first thing we must do is get it in our minds that all war criminals must be hanged. We must stop acting as we have been programmed to act for generations, which is to acquiesce in every evil policy and law made up by these sadistic criminals. We, too, have been part of a huge Zionist program in mind-control. So far, we have not broken the spell cast by these masters of horror. The Iraqi judge who sentenced Saddam
Hussein to death has fled Iraq and sought asylum in the UK.
Al Jazeera's correspondent in London
quoted British official sources as saying that Raouf Abdel-Rahman, a
member of Iraq's Kurdish minority, has requested political asylum in
Britain with his family.
Abdel-Rahman headed the Supreme Iraq
Criminal Tribunal that heard Saddam's genocide trial and found the
former Iraqi president guilty, leading to his execution.
Saddam was accused of killing more than a
hundred Shia in the village of Dujail following a failed assassination
attempt on him.
Saddam was hanged in the early hours of December 30.
Asylum plea
Nasir al-Badri, Al Jazeera's correspondent in London, reported that Abdel-Rahman has applied for political asylum and that the British Home Office was considering his application.
"We contacted the British Home Office to make sure whether he and his family have applied for asylum but they refused to comment, saying they did not comment on personal or private cases", al-Badri said.
"But the accredited sources we first talked to were 100 per cent sure they have examined some papers and documents Abdel-Rahman has presented besides an application for residence in Britain", he said.
Besides sending Saddam to the gallows,
Abdel-Rahman had also sentenced two other top Saddam aides to death in
the same trial.
The two were Saddam's half brother and
former intelligence chief, Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti, and Awad Hamed
al-Bandar, former head of Iraq's Revolutionary Court.
They were found guilty along with Saddam
of involvement in the Dujail killings in 1982

Saddam is dead, but Saddam's hanging had nothing to do with Saddam. Saddam is dead, but his death had nothing to do with how many people he killed or caused to die. All aboard, friends, Saddam's death is just one stop on this long Israeli train of Arab holocaust. What exactly happened in that execution chamber? Inquiring people wanted to know. Who was there and what did they say? Was it Muqtada Al sader's people? Was it the Americans? Was it the Shiites? The inquiry goes on and on . The Media - TV, Radio, Print, Internet, and a plethora of talking heads all are concentrating on what will happen now between the Sunnis and Shiites. The Arab media is to be blamed before the Western media. The real story got buried in the sensational details of what took place during the hanging and the case was used to yet inflame sectarian violence amongst the Iraqi people. Saddam, was hanged for Aldujail issue where 148 Iraqi Shiites lost their lives after an assassination attempt on his life while he was the president of Iraq, which occurred in the middle of the Iran-Iraq war: a war in which some of those arrested, tried, and condemned to die by a court of law admitted to being Iranian agents. Granted, it was a court system that was under Saddam's regime, but that was the only court system in the country at that time and the World accepted it. What about the other atrocities committed by Saddam's regime? And, by the way, that regime should not be singled out, because most regimes in the area will condemn to death those who try to assassinate their leaders. What about Halabjah and the gassing of the Kurds? Don't you think the Kurds wanted to try him for that too? As a matter of fact, Saddam was hanged in the middle of another trial known as Al-anfal issue. What about the war with Iran, the invasion of Kuwait, the killing of Al-Sader, the killings of his own son-in-law and other relatives? After twenty-five years of Saddam's rule over Iraq, there was not even one question to Saddam about the handling of the affairs of Iraq under his rule. What could Saddam have said about all that? What would he have said about his dealings with the US and the CIA throughout his reign of power? The United States occupation forces that setup the kangaroo court and even approved the judges, and removed judges, who were deemed friendly to Saddam, tell us that it was a purely Iraqi decision to hang Saddam on the first day of Eid Al-adha, where, in fact, Iraqi laws prohibit the execution of anyone on that particular day. I am sure the Americans could have kept him for one more day if they wanted to. But hanging him on that day played well in the script of why we went to war against Iraq in the first place. So, why did we go over to Iraq destroyed the country, and killed its President? The US army could have killed Saddam when they "captured" him, and that would have given Bush an extra feather in his hat, which he needed desperately at the time. But instead they kept him, for a much better use later. They took him out of the rat hole all drugged up and disoriented: I am not sure how he went in there to start with? Probably couple of marines had to use their boots to squeeze him down the hole, but that's another story. So, they brought him out and fed him well; all the American Raisin Bran, Cheetos, and Doritos he wanted. He hated Fruit Loops, and wouldn't touch Cheetos after he found Doritos. They gave it to him by the bag full, and as a good boy he would go into a corner of his cell and eat it all, in ten minutes. Robert Ellis was a military nurse with one wartime assignment. "Make sure he stays alive" Ellis was told by his superiors. " That was my job: to keep him alive and healthy, so they could kill him later." Ellis said. Saddam once asked Ellis" Why did the Americans invade Iraq?" And that is the tragedy of Arab leaders. A president of what once was the strongest and most technological Arab country had no clue why he was invaded and his country destroyed. How many other Arab leaders have no clue of what's coming to them? Saddam's hanging had nothing to do with Saddam. Chew on the following: In his Complete Diaries, Vol. II. p. 711, Theodore Herzl, the founder of Zionism, says that the area of the Jewish State stretches: "From the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates." Rabbi Fischmann, member of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, declared in his testimony to the U.N. Special Committee of Enquiry on 9 July 1947: "The Promised Land extends from the River of Egypt up to the Euphrates, it includes parts of Syria and Lebanon." I will discuss four documents of interest here, which should shed some lights on this long Israeli night train to Pandemonium. The first was translated by Israel Shahak from Hebrew back in 1982 entitled " A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties" Shahak wrote: "This strategy paper plan operates on two essential premises. To survive, Israel must become an imperial regional power, and 2) must effect the division of the whole area into small states by the dissolution of all existing Arab states." This document is a detailed document of Israel's strategy for the Middle East, which is based on breaking up Arab countries into small, weak, and ethnically structured states. The Document stated: " The existence, prosperity and steadfastness of the Jewish state will depend upon its ability to adopt a new framework for its domestic and foreign affairs." "All the Arab States east of Israel are torn apart, broken up and riddled with inner conflict." "Iraq is, once again, no different in essence from its neighbors, although its majority is Shi'ite and the ruling minority Sunni. Sixty-five percent of the population has no say in politics, in which an elite of 20 percent holds the power. In addition there is a large Kurdish minority in the north, and if it weren't for the strength of the ruling regime, the army and the oil revenues, Iraq's future state would be no different than that of Lebanon in the past or of Syria today. The seeds of inner conflict and civil war are apparent today already, especially after the rise of Khomeini to power in Iran, a leader whom the Shiites in Iraq view as their natural leader." "Iraq, rich in oil on the one hand and internally torn on the other, is guaranteed as a candidate for Israel's targets. Its dissolution is even more important for us than that of Syria. Iraq is stronger than Syria. In the short run it is Iraqi power, which constitutes the greatest threat to Israel. An Iraqi-Iranian war will tear Iraq apart and cause its downfall at home even before it is able to organize a struggle on a wide front against us. Every kind of inter-Arab confrontation will assist us in the short run and will shorten the way to the more important aim of breaking up Iraq into denominations as in Syria and in Lebanon. In Iraq, a division into provinces along ethnic/religious lines as in Syria during Ottoman times is possible. So, three (or more) states will exist around the three major cities: Basra, Baghdad and Mosul, and Shi'ite areas in the south will separate from the Sunni and Kurdish north. It is possible that the present Iranian-Iraqi confrontation will deepen this polarization." As you see here in simple English Israel planned along time ago to break up Iraq. Now we move to Israel's plan of attack. Since Israel was unable to accomplish the task of breaking up Iraq on its own therefore, it had to give the job to a surrogate power. That power of course is the U.S. The second document was prepared back in 1992 by the Cheney Defense Department under the administration of George H.W.Bush and came to be known publicly as the Defense planning Guidance (DPG), crafted then by would be infamous, I. Lewis Libby, Paul Wolfowitz, and Zalmay Khalilzad. James Mann,author of the 2004 book: The Rise of the Vulcans, reported that these men were given the task of devising the DPG, a classified document that outlines U.S. military strategies and provides a framework for developing the defense budget. Libby and Wolfowitz were given the task of devising a new framework for the U.S. policy in the post cold-war era. Khalilzad, a long time aid to Wolfowitz was given the task of drafting the report, probably just to have a Muslim in the midst of this complicated policy paper. Other participants in this project were Richard Pearle, and Albert Wohlstetter who was credited by many to be Wolfowitz and Pearle mentor. The main points of this document were: Massive increase in defense spending, the U.S. is the only superpower in the World, prevent any regional power from challenging the U.S., the use of preventive or preemptive force to protect U.S. interests, and interfering in disputes throughout the World even when the U.S. is not involved in these disputes. They stated that the United States should â¤retain the preeminent responsibility for addressing selectively those wrongs which threaten not only our interests, but those of our allies or friends, or which could seriously disrupt international relations. Israel is referred to as an ally and a friend of the U.S. by most government officials in America every chance they get. Just keep this in mind as you follow this plan, which took 10 years to implement. When news of the plan was first leaked out to the public in 1992, the White House publicly rejected it and distanced itself from the people who worked on it. Interestingly enough the men who were an outcast during the rein of Bush the father, became the rulers of the White House during the rein of Bush the son, who also thinks of himself as the holy ghost. In 1996 another document was prepared by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies by the "Study Group on a New Israeli Strategy Toward 2000" Wolfowitz and Pearle among others drafted the document entitled "A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm" this document was a straight forward strategy paper or a plan of what Israel should do to become the only regional power in the Middle East. The document stated: "Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq â¤" an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right-" This clearly proves that the removal of Saddam Hussein from power is an Israeli plan that took place long before September 11, 2001. It was also written: "Israel can make a clean break from the past and establish a new vision for the U.S.-Israeli partnership based on self-reliance, maturity and mutuality - not one focused narrowly on territorial disputes - Israel's 'new strategy' based on a shared philosophy of peace through strength. In other words its time for Israel to step up and claim "what is rightfully hers", the foreign policy of the United States based on the premise that AIPAC is in total control of Congress, and other institutions such as JINSA are in control of policy. Israel no longer needs to operate behind the scenes. This document was written specifically for then Israeli Prime-minister, Benjamin Netanyahu as a guide for Israeli foreign policy. When presented to then President Clinton, he did not accept it and refused to make a move in the removal of Saddam. It was no surprise that most of these so called neocons, Zionist Jews, ended up securing the Realm in George W Bush's administration making the decision on their own to remove Saddam. Douglas Feith who ended up running the office of Special Plans at the Pentagon under Wolfowitz, who was Rumsfeld's Deputy Secretary of Defense in the first G. W. Bush administration. This occurred during the run-up to the war on Iraq where the Niger Uranium story was fabricated and used as one of the pretences to attack Iraq. There were other well known Zionists with sensitive policy making positions such as David Wurmser, who was appointed by Vice-president Cheney as Middle East Advisor, and James Colbert, Communication Director of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. You might wonder how these Zionists sold the idea of destroying Iraq for Israel to others in the United States who may not be as enthusiastic about making such a decision for Israel's benefit. This is not the problem it might appear to be. There are always other documents of a similar nature that could be churned up to fit the U.S. psyche. This brings us up to the fourth document that was prepared by the same cabal, The Project for the New American Century This document was based on the 1992 Defense planning Guidance(DPG) and renewed few months before Bushâ¤s regime was installed in 2000 by a single manâ¤s vote in the 5-4 supreme court decision. Like the old 1992 document this one called for: An attack on Iraq and the removal of Saddam regime, huge increase in military budget, establishing new American military bases all over the world, stressing the concept of "pre-emptive war" and unilateral action as a strategic policy by circumventing the UN. As you can see the plan to attack Iraq was planned years before the planes hit the towers and at a time when Bin Laden was an American asset. As you can see this plan looks pretty good for the American appetite for world hegemony. Looking at the list of signatories to the Project for the New American Century makes one understand better what happened in Florida in 2000 with the presidential election. These people had to win in order for 9/11 to take place, Iraq and Saddam destroyed, and the rest of the Arab countries to start the count down to capitulation to Israel. Here is a partial list of signatories to this document, and the positions they held at the start of the war: Dick Cheney, became Vice-President, Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, Deputy Secretary of Defense, I. Lewis Libby, Chief of Staff to Dick Cheney, Peter Rodman, Assistant to Secretary of Defense, Elliot Abrams, Bush's National security advisor, Richard Perle, member of Bush's Defense policy Board, Jeb Bush, the president's brother, Paula Dobriansky, Undersecretary of State for Global Affairs, Peter Rodman, Rumsfeld's Assistant for International Security Affairs, Randy Scheunemann, Advisor to Rumsfeld in Iraq, and others. I don't know why we call them neocons, they are old cons. There is one striking similarity between these people: The vast majority of them are Jewish, and all of them are Likudnics who think of Israel's welfare before that of the U.S. These people have been planning this for over a quarter of a century, and when the time was right, they all got in their predefined positions and executed the plan perfectly. Once they started the domino effect of sectarian violence in Iraq, they can sit back and watch the rest of the Arab World follow suit, or that is what they hoped would happen? Some people might say, "Here we go again, blaming everything on the Zionist Jews". I say, they are wrong. The documents, the people, their ideology, the positions they held, their hatred, their ambitions, and their names say so; I am just making words out of alphabets. He knew that the distant target of his .243 Wetherbee rifle had a family, but that was irrelevant — this was business. We both knew that all the bases were covered, that any serious attempt at creating genuine freedom from this succubus that sucks the world into its own shadow would quickly bring a horde of lemming parasites to destroy the idea, to convert it to its own uses. Failing that, the usual pattern of outraged protest, besmirchment, stonewalling, blackmailing, bribery and if necessary murder would follow. The difference between us, I guess, was that he believed this was a tribal phenomenon whereas I had always felt it was specieswide amongst humans. And this became the great question of our time: Have we been guided into the position we’re in, or did we get here all by ourselves? The most real question pertaining to the development of human society at the beginning of the 21st century anno domini has recently been discussed exhaustively in, of all places, Tehran, Iran. A hundred other arguments again could be recalled here to prove that, on the plane of history and science, the immense edifice of lies put up by the “Holocaust” or “Shoah” sect has been thrown down, with not one stone left upon another. In contrast to this expanse of ruins, we have seen the construction of a whole revisionist literature. In it can be discovered a profusion of documents, photographs, expert studies, trial transcripts, technical and scientific reports, testimonies, statistical studies, all of which bearing on a hundred aspects of the history of the Second World War that show what the lot of the European Jews was in reality, and demonstrate in striking manner that the Jewish version of that war is largely of the order of myth. It poisons the very soul of a great country, Germany. ST LOUIS - In his final months, Iraqi dictator (Read: duly-elected President -ed) Saddam Hussein wrote poetry, told of reading his children bedtime stories and fed birds crusts of bread saved from his meals, according to the US medical nurse who cared for him. Master Sergeant Robert Ellis was the senior medical adviser at the compound near Baghdad where Saddam and other "high-value detainees" were held. Sergeant Ellis, 56, an operating room nurse, said he was ordered to do whatever was needed to keep Saddam alive. "That was my job - to keep him alive and healthy, so they could kill him at a later date," he said. Sergeant Ellis said Saddam was confined to a 2m-by-2.4m cell in solitary confinement at Camp Cropper. He had a single bed and a small table where he kept some books and a Koran, two plastic chairs, a prayer rug and two wash basins. Saddam told Sergeant Ellis cigars and coffee kept his blood pressure down, and it seemed to work. Saddam would insist that Sergeant Ellis smoke with him. At one point, Saddam went on a hunger strike, refusing to eat when the guards would slide food through the slot on the bottom of his door. But when they changed tactics and opened the door, he started eating again. "He refused to be fed like a lion," Sergeant Ellis said. When he was allowed short periods outside, Saddam would feed the birds crusts of bread saved from his meals. He also watered a dusty plot of weeds. "He said he was a farmer when he was young and he never forgot where he came from," Sergeant Ellis said. He said Saddam never gave him trouble, and didn't complain much - and if he did, it was usually legitimate. "He had very good coping skills," Sergeant Ellis said. The Barbaric Lynching of President Saddam Hussein By Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad Global Research, January 1, 2007 On the Holy day of Eid, the world watched in horror at the barbaric lynching of President Saddam Hussein of Iraq, allegedly for crimes against humanity. This public murder was sanctioned by the War Criminals, President Bush and Prime Minister Blair. This sadistic act broadcasted to the whole world is a travesty of justice, and was meant to demonstrate the imperial power of the United States and serves as a warning to peace loving peoples that we must either bow to the dictates of the Bush regime or face the consequences of a public lynching. The lynching was also an insult to all Muslims, as it occurred on the Holy Day of Eid, whereby Muslims devote themselves to prayer and forgiveness. It is all too clear that the war criminal Bush has no sensitivities whatsoever for Muslims on their pilgrimage to Mecca. This barbaric act is a sacrilege! The entire trial process was a mockery of justice, no less a Kangaroo Court. Defence counsels were brutally murdered, witnesses threatened and judges removed for being impartial and replaced by puppet judges. Yet, we are told that Iraq was invaded to promote democracy, freedom and justice. A peaceful country has now been turned into a war zone. Over 500,000 children died as a result of the criminal economic sanctions, and the latest findings by the medical journal, Lancet reveals that over 650,000 Iraqis have died since the illegal invasion of 2003. The War Criminal Bush has killed more Iraqis than President Saddam ever did, if in fact he was guilty of any crime. If President Saddam Hussein is guilty of war crimes, then the world must find Bush, Blair and Howard equally guilty and the International Criminal Court cannot but prosecute these war criminals. The inaction thus far by the International Criminal Court against Bush, Blair and Howard exposes the double standard of the said Court, when it does not hesitate to prosecute war crimes committed in Dalfur, Rwanda and Kosovo. If we support human rights and justice, we must condemn this barbaric lynching of President Saddam Hussein. There can be no excuse whatsoever for this injustice under any circumstances. Saddam's illegal execution is part of US war plan
Global Research, January 1, 2007 Solidaire (Belgium) Iraqi hangmen executed Saddam Hussein at the gallows in the early morning of Saturday December 30. Officially, the former Iraqi president was convicted for the execution in 1982 of 148 villagers in Dujail. In fact, Saddam was eliminated by the United States because he didn't want to surrender his country's oil and sovereignty. His execution is one more entry in a long list of US war crimes. Saddam's trial and execution are in blatant disregard of international humanitarian law. That is the opinion of Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and peace organizations the world over. Purportedly, Saddam's trial was an Iraqi affair, but Uncle Sam's fingerprints are all over the place. It were US troops who arrested Saddam. He was detained in Camp Cropper , a US air base. The Special Iraqi Tribunal's statute was written by US lawyers. The US invested more than 100 million dollars in the tribunal and intervened directly in the course of the trial. Conveniently, the conviction came just in time for the US elections in order to influence the electorate in favor of Bush. Saddam's execution is fit for the propaganda offensive that Bush and his ilk have launched in order to neutralize the bad news from Iraq . Bush wants to send more troops to Baghdad , to a war the US have already lost. Justice and resistance Saddam was definitely not a lamb. But when will the people stand trial who have used cluster bombs and white phosphorous against the Iraqi people; those who are guilty of the siege of Fallujah and Najjaf that bombed and starved these cities' population to death; those who are responsible for the anarchy and chaos the Iraqi people had to endure after the "liberation"? Will the 655,000 Iraqi’s who died since the invasion in March 2003 ever be given justice? What about the victims of torture in Abu Ghraib, and of those numerous other US and British war crimes? Tommy Franks, Donald Rumsfeld, George Bush and Tony Blair – will they ever see their day in court? Whatever criticism one can make about Saddam Hussein's reign, ever more Iraqi's say they had it better under Saddam when compared to the hell and chaos under occupation. Recently, the independent Iraq Centre for Research and Strategic Studies held an opinion poll. Almost 90 percent of the Iraqis opine that Iraq ’s situation was better before the occupation. At least there used to be stability, some level of economic prosperity and access to health care and education. What's left of that today is nothing but a distant memory. Saddam's arrest three years ago didn't reduce resistance activity at all. Probably that will not be different after his execution. To the contrary, resistance has been intensifying gradually for some time now. The Pentagon's most recent Iraq report announces that there were on the average 959 attacks per week in Iraq in the period from August to November 2006, 70 percent of which were directed against the "coalition troops" (the US and their allies). This number is 2.5 times higher than in the April-July 2004 period. With 106 casualties, last December was the deadliest month for US soldiers in Iraq this year. The total number of US soldiers killed in Iraq has reached 2993. It is difficult to see how the execution of Saddam could help save US imperialism from defeat and humiliation. Saddam’s execution repudiated all over the world All rules of international law violated. Malcolm Smart, Director of the Middle East and North Africa for Amnesty International: "Amnesty opposes the death penalty in all circumstances and we deplore the death penalty in this case. It is because we consider that the trial was flawed in serious ways that it is more concerning that the death penalty should be imposed. The independence and impartiality of the court was impugned. There was political interference. Three defence lawyers were murdered. Saddam himself had no access to legal advice for a year." (BBC World, 30 December) Human Rights Watch: "The imposition of the death penalty - an inherently cruel and inhumane punishment - in the wake of an unfair trial is indefensible". (BBC World, 30 December) The BRussells Tribunal: “The Iraqi Higher Criminal Court that passed a death sentence on President Saddam Hussein is grounded on illegality. Occupying powers under international law are expressly prohibited from changing the judicial structures of occupied states. Created by Paul Bremer, the Iraqi Higher Criminal Court was never anything but a US-orchestrated puppet court.” Political reasons behind the execution Vrede vzw ( a Belgian peace movement): “It was a fake trial, not at all intended to judge Saddam’s crimes. His execution was a political act. It had to be done quickly, because Saddam Hussein stood symbol for part of the armed resistance. The execution came at a moment that the number of US military killed is nearing the 3,000 mark. More than ever, President Bush needs a ‘success story’ for his disastrous campaign in Iraq .” StopUSA (a Belgian anti-war movement): “In November 1532, the Inca king Atahualpa stood trial before the Spanish conquistadores. He was sentenced to death and hanged in August 1533. Among the accusations against him: he would have been ‘cruel for his enemies’. Whatever that may have meant, in any case the execution of Atahualpa has gone down in history not so much because of the man’s supposed or real cruelty, but because of the grotesque nature of this parody of justice. It won’t be different with Saddam’s execution.” Robert Fisk (Middle East journalist): “His execution will go down - correctly - as an American affair and time will add its false but lasting gloss to all this - that the West destroyed an Arab leader who no longer obeyed his orders from Washington, that, for all his wrongdoing Saddam died a "martyr" to the will of the new "Crusaders". Saddam's Execution Is About Iran Guest Op-Ed PROLOGUE When someone does something obviously egregious, we tend to look past it because it is our nature to believe that people are naturally sane, good, and honest. We cannot imagine that anyone would willfully destroy their own country, violate their own laws, trample on their own people, and do it with such naked bravado while the world looked on. But people have done it and do it even still, because there is also a darker side to human nature. Those of us who see the good in people look past actions that appear to be willfully evil not only because it is in our nature but it is also a foundation of our culture, as Americans, we believe guilt must be proved. So we do not see what is going on before our eyes and directly in front of us. We look past it, around it, through it, but not at it. We cannot look directly at it, because if we do, we lose the vision of our beloved America and see something so sinister, that our minds would rather collapse than accept it. But chess forces us to abandon our preconceptions and emotions. It pushes us to think in terms of cause and effect and it forces us to consider each action and counteraction in terms of the whole game. That is to say, chess forces us to think beyond our own present and fixed position, forcing us to reason every possible outcome of each action and counteraction. Furthermore, chess teaches us to calculate not against a person, or a group, or a nation, but against a strategy that has no inherent religious, moral, or human characteristics. Master players can suspend their fixated self at will. Sadly, I am no master, and so I continue to struggle in seeing the game despite my human nature as an obstacle. But sometimes, it just happens, something sets it off and there you are, inside the board, walking each action out in your mind and seeing the whole from beginning to end. QUESTIONS AND SEEING THE BOARD Sometime this morning, all the various and truly bizarre events the Bush administration has been engaged in recently with regard to troop levels and surges suddenly crystallized for me, as though I were sitting at a chess board and seeing the entire strategy unfold before my eyes. This is of course my opinion and I may very well be wrong. In fact, I hope I am wrong. But the news that Saddam Hussein would be executed soon, and then the news that it would be in the next 48 hours, boggled my mind. Why on earth would anyone want to set off an ideological bomb during an already chaotic situation? I do not defend Saddam Hussein, not by any measure. But when Iraq is falling into total chaos and civil war, and as American troops continue to die, why would anyone want to add fuel to that fire, enough fuel to destroy what is left? Suspend your emotions and think strategically. Now look at the question again and in context. The administration is stalling as it supposedly weighs its Iraq options, when in fact they have already made their decision. How do I know they have made their decision? One need only look at the slow leaks coming out, not the least of which was Joe Lieberman's op-ed in the Washington Post, to understand that we are going to be sending more troops to Iraq. So why does the administration wait to tell us this? In the meantime, naval carriers are deployed to send Iran "a warning," as though the threats thus far and the passing of sanctions are not warning enough. Add to that the detainment of Iranian diplomats invited to Iraq by the Iraqi leadership. Why is the US arresting diplomats invited to a country that the US claims is a sovereign nation governing itself? And what about those sanctions, which ultimately mean nothing and sadly mean everything? The sanctions are so watered down as to have no real effect on the Iranian population or economy. Why even bother passing them? Why censor Dr. Leverett's opinion piece on Iran when the CIA already cleared it? Now given this entire context, ask yourself again why Saddam Hussein is being executed now, during Hajj even? What is the urgency? THE UGLY STRATEGY I SEE This is what I think may be playing out, my opinion of course. And yes, the strategy is so brazenly obvious, arrogant, and antithetical to everything America is supposed to be and stand for that it will be difficult to digest. What the Bush administration appears to be waiting for, stalling for, while they allegedly mull over the Iraq question, is for the naval carriers and other key assets to fall into position. This will happen in the first week of January. Saddam Hussein is being executed (and I would not be surprised if every major network aired it) to enrage tempers and fuel more violence in Iraq. This violence will justify an immediate need for a troop surge, although I think it will be described as temporary. Remember too that the British press has for the past week done nothing but report that Britain will be attacked by the New Year. Clearly they are preparing themselves for a contingency, and that contingency is the massive violence that will erupt across the Muslim world as they watch (and I really believe it will be televised) Saddam's hanging just before the New Year. Why is the rush to execute Saddam Hussein not account for Hajj? Or does it? The carriers will be in position. I imaging there will be an event of some sort in Iraq, or the violence will spill into friendly (our friends) territory. It will be dramatic, even more so than the immediate violence. The attacks will be blamed on Iran, with the help of the Saudis and Pakistan. Iran will be blamed for something that happens in Iran. The naval carriers, again, will be in position. The sanctions, as watered down as they are, have given the administration the blank check they needed from the world (and they still have their blank check from Congress) to order aerial strikes. The surge troops will be in position, and I estimate that ground support will begin around late February, early March. Saddam's execution and the violence will also be a convenient cover while the administration moves pieces into position. But what the planners in the administration don't seem to realize is that the Persians are the most expert of chess players, and they are a patient, strategy minded opponent. They are watching this develop, all of it, and they too are planning their counteraction. They know better than to strike first, because in doing so, they would lose the moral argument in the eyes of the world, as well as the advantage of counteraction. The US has a superior air force, but Iran has a formidable navy, and while the house of Saud will fuel this, the fallout will be fatal. Why? Here is why: Because the US is too stretched to be able to protect Israel, and Israel cannot sustain a long term attack. They can sustain a few hits, but they will not be able to sustain a full blown attack. If you have any doubt, go back to the recent war with Lebanon. The British will pull out, despite promises of support. Blair is on his way out, and the British public will not tolerate support for Israel, because of its help in supporting US imperialistic aggression. Whatever terrorist cells lurk in the US, and make no mistake, our administration has done little to address this issue, will be activated. Also consider that the house of Saud is not prepared to defend itself against an uprising, and that the US cannot protect it while simultaneously operating on three different fronts and covertly in god knows how many. Despite the various sectarian differences in the Muslim world, there are two enemies that they all agree to fight and die fighting against: the US and Israel. This attack will set off a Muslim counterattack so large, that nothing will be able to stop it or contain it. But our leadership does not see this, because they cannot think strategically and won't think in human terms, so they are left with nothing but arrogance. And we ae left with a world ablaze. U.S. buries truth
On my first visit to Iraq in 1976, so-called "Israeli spies" were being hanged in front of my Baghdad hotel. While covering Iraq just before the 1991 Gulf War, Saddam Hussein's secret police threatened to hang me as an American/Israeli spy. I always considered "President Hussein," who was hanged Friday, a sadistic bully and a loathsome megalomaniac. No one can accuse me of sympathy for Saddam or his fellow thugs who terrorized Iraq. But I was thoroughly disgusted and ashamed by the kangaroo court created and stage-managed by the U.S. that condemned Saddam. It was a disgraceful farrago of Soviet-style show trial and judicial circus. Washington, which claimed to be bringing the fruits of democracy to the benighted Arab World, put on a sinister legal farce worthy of, ironically, Saddam's courts. Iraq's deposed president, whom Osama bin Laden called "the worst Arab despot" should have faced real justice at an international legal tribunal like the UN Hague Court. That would have served warning to other despots who violated human rights and committed aggression. The United States did right to hand over Serb tyrant Slobodan Milosevic to the Hague. But Saddam had to be silenced before he told the world about his long collusion with the United States. Dead men tell no tales. Saddam's biggest crime was not killing rebellious Kurds or Shia. As ruler of the unnatural, British-created Frankenstein state Iraq, Saddam was forced to keep putting down rebellions. Saintly Winston Churchill authorized the RAF to bomb Iraq's rebellious Kurdish tribesmen with poison gas -- exactly as Saddam later did. Saddam's most brutal repression of Kurds and Shia occurred when they revolted during Iraq's wars with Iran and the U.S. Saddam should have faced trial for his unprovoked 1980 aggression against Iran that ended up causing one million dead and wounded. But in this crime, Saddam was covertly backed by his principal accomplices, the U.S. and Britain. Donald Rumsfeld even went to Baghdad to offer Saddam arms, finance and intelligence. Hanging Saddam eliminated the main witness. Saddam was helped into power by the CIA, which stood by while he slaughtered Iraqi communists and Nasserites. The U.S. and Britain, as I discovered in Baghdad in 1990, supplied Saddam with poison gas and germs to make battlefield weapons (these were not "weapons of mass destruction." The germs were never successfully weaponized). So long as Saddam was killing and torturing people America and Britain did not like, he was "our SOB." But when Saddam grew too big for his britches and invaded Kuwait, he went from being the West's regional bullyboy to devil No. 1. Once he touched the West's oil in Kuwait, he was marked for death. Some of the tame U.S. media have been spinning Saddam's execution as a justification for the Bush/Cheney administration's unprovoked invasion of Iraq, without ever asking why Saddam was an ally in 1988 yet a devil in 1991 and again in 2003. Nor has there been much reporting that under Saddam, Iraq became the Arab world's most industrialized nation, a leader in women's rights, medical care, education, and public projects. Back in 2003, I predicted that once the U.S. got rid of old pal Saddam, it would look for another Saddam-clone to replace him. The mutant state of Iraq and its feuding peoples can only be ruled by an iron fist. Saddam's greatest error was believing he had frightened Iraqis into a national unity that would support invasions of his neighbours. He was dead wrong. There are plenty of other brutal regimes that rival Saddam's Iraq for nastiness. Most are close U.S. allies. As Henry Kissinger once quipped, being America's ally is far more dangerous than being its enemy. After jubilation among Shia and Kurds over Saddam's execution subsides, Iraq will return to its daily bloody chaos. Saddam called himself a martyr. Will the standing of America as a world power, as the "shining city on the Hill", the beacon for the "poor, downtrodden and huddled masses", to build anew in hope, ever recover? How many generations will it take to shake off the world's revulsion at United States' actions since 2001? The day the bombing of Afghanistan began, in October 2001, I was in Hamilton, Ontario, on a speaking tour in Canada, on the silent holocaust which was embargoed Iraq. On a sparkling fall day, I walked along the river which separates a lovely part of town, with it's clapboard houses and abundant gardens, from its vast neighbour, Detroit, U.S.A., so near, one could have swum there. The towering skyscrapers, dominating glass monoliths, reaching heavenward, glimmered in the sun. It was might personified. Behind me, was dwarfed simplicity and tranquility. Turning my back, I walked up the road seeking the home of my host who was to take me to McManus University. I trod a riot of golden, apricot and near crimson, Fall leaves; black squirrels played joyfully amongst them, leaping, scaling trees, sailing between branches, silhouetted under an azure sky. Overwhelming tragedy temporarily fell away. The world was an incomparable beautiful place. Identifying the house, the door opened, I was welcomed; then: "They are bombing Afghanistan." We looked at each other, speechless strangers, silently knowing the end had no bounds. When the (US backed) Taliban destroyed the ancient Banyiman statues, the outcry across the globe was deafening. When the poorest country on earth was destroyed, the world largely looked away and as the slaughter continues, has largely, long forgotten. But western destruction is different, is for the good. As President Bush, in his 11th November 2001, address to the U.N., said: "We choose the dignity of life, over a culture of death. We choose lawful change ... over subversion and chaos." Further: "We are fighting for peace" (work that one out.) There were, of course no Afghans reported on the 9/11 planes and the Bush and Bin Laden families were long inextricably linked in the vast Carlyle Group (which gained further stratospheric $ contracts in Afghanistan and subsequently Iraq.) Some things are worth repeating, lest we forget. There were no Iraqis reported on the 9/11 'planes either, but by the March 2003 invasion, the President had clearly chucked the speech writers' finest from the White House windows. America had reverted to the Wild West. In Iraq - where all, from astronomy to mathematics, to the first written records and the first cohesive civil society was developed, the first domestic laws devised by Hammurabi (2123-2081 BC) base of much of Western Law today, the first time piece, the wheel - posters were displayed of its leaders: "Wanted Dead or Alive". Million's of dollars in bounties were put on their heads. The Wild West meets Mesopotamia. Is America's devout President aware that without the region's scholars from pre-antiquity, the Wise Men would have been unable to follow the star, to the birth place of his Saviour? To this "Cradle of Civilisation", Land of Milk and Honey; Babylon of the Hanging Gardens; The Garden of Eden; Kufa, believed site from where the dove brought back an olive leaf (ever since, peace's emblem) to the Ark of Noah, indicating the flood was receding, in this land of humanity's history, birthplace of Abraham, the "Land between two Rivers", the great Biblical Tigris and Euphrates, America, which God Himself is invoked to "bless", has not brought reverence, awe, but marauders and a lynch mob of old. An administration which has not moved on since Custer, Wounded Knee, the slaughter of the Indigenous population and corralling of the survivors, has found another land, another spiritual peoples, to desecrate. In a tragic irony, Iraq's (and the region's) population are poisoned by toxic and radioactive depleted uranium dust from US and UK weapons (as is every soldier, mercenary, contractor and puppet administrator on Iraqi soil.) In the U.S., the most affected population are the Navajo's of Arizona and New Mexico who mined uranium, unaware and unwarned of its lethal properties. They suffer parallel cancers and birth deformities to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Balkans. Their language has no word for "radiation". In addition to "Wanted Dead or Alive", some exceptionally psychologically challenged Pentagon employee (or their four year old) came up with another idea. The "Most Wanted" would be depicted on playing cards. Saddam of course, the ace of spades. On another playing card, was Dr Huda Ammash, a gentle, delicate environmental biologist, Professor at Baghdad University, Researcher at the Iraqi Academy of Sciences, with a PH.D from the University of Missouri. She had written numerous papers on the environmental and biological impact of sanctions - and depleted uranium. (She wrote a chilling and salutary chapter on the subject in "Iraq Under Siege", Edited by Anthony Arnove, Pluto Press, updated invasion year, 2003.) Dr Ammash was held by the Americans, charged with nothing and finally released after three years. She had lost both breasts to cancer and is now, reportedly in relapse. Her husband is in custody still, also charged with nothing. Dr Ammash, like Saddam Hussein and so many of those held incommunicado at the prison at the airport Iraqis were so proud of having rebuilt, their beacon of hope after twelve embargoed years, knew too much. She also knew of the criminal weapons used in 1991 - and the countries and companies who sold them to Iraq, subsidised by export credit guarantees from those very countries. No wonder thousands of pages of documents disappeared from Saddam's lawyers' offices, the denied evidence, the killings of his attorneys. No wonder former Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Tariq Aziz was not allowed to testify before the lynch mob, masquerading as a Court. When the US invaded Iraq, one of their first acts in their "Mission Accomplished" rampage, was to abolish the death penalty, in the "New Iraq". There was (rightly of course) no place for such barbarism; it was unworthy of a "free, democratic", society. In 2004, clearly realising that the living could still communicate, the U.S. quietly brought back the death penalty, thus Donald Rumsfeld, Britain's David Mellor and others, who had negotiated arms deals with Iraq, could not be called to the witness stand, by those beyond the grave. America of course is fourth on the league table of countries which execute (even the mentally retarded) with George W. Bush's Texas accounting for one third of U.S. State homicides. Saddam Hussein under U.S Administration (oh yes, it is) died ostensibly for 148 deaths. In today's Iraq, that would be a peaceful day. The American backed thugs, who taunted the about to be assassinated President, before and after his death, are not worthy of comment. That which is, are death's double standards. The righteous howls of protest when American or British soldiers are captured anywhere on earth, and shown in the media, dead, held, alive. The Geneva Convention is wheeled out, the press pack bay. Saddam Hussein's sons were displayed, naked, as so much meat. Saddam Hussein himself, shown going to the gallows and in death. But poet, Rupert Brook's "Vast Eternal Pulse", had surely long taken over. The losers forever are the lynch mob in Baghdad, Washington and Whitehall. The day Saddam Hussein went to his death, the man who took responsibility for the dodgy dossiers which justified invasion, John Scarlett, was given a Knighthood in Britain's New Year's Honours list. He stood by the statement that Iraq could launch an attack on Western interests within forty five minutes and the plagiarised decade old thesis, passing for intelligence, which was taken off the internet and "sexed up" and played a key role in the whitewash Hutton enquiry into the death of scientist and Iraq weapons Inspector, Dr David Kelly. He was rewarded by being made head of MI6 and is now rewarded again. Morals in high places could do with scrutiny. Comment on the enormity of the unforgiveable wickedness of illegal invasion, all that has followed and this U.S. assassination, goes to Sabah Al Mukhtar, President of the Association of Arab Lawyers, who says: "Never in the Islamic calendar has there been a recorded hanging on this day (the first of Eid Al Adha) not in the Arab world. All 2003 has delivered is death, death and more dead.(Prime Minister) Maliki heads a dying regime. All they could deliver was Saddam's head, so Bush said 'O.K.’ and went to sleep." Bush had given instructions that he should not be wakened, even if the executions of Saddam and his government colleagues, went ahead. It was carried out at 9 p.m., Texas time. Bush had gone to bed; Blair went to the beach and Margaret Beckett, Britain's Foreign Secretary, who until her recent appointment, had only been as far away from home as she could tow her holiday caravan, said this historically horrendous episode, held President Saddam Hussein: "to account". "At Nuremberg, in the wake of World War II the U.S. set the bar very high by declaring that even the Nazis, who had committed the most heinous of crimes, should have a fair trial. The U.S. and allies insisted on this, not to serve those charged, but to educate the public through a believable accounting. In the case of Saddam, the bar was lowered to the mud, with the proceedings turned into a political circus reminiscent of Stalin’s show trials." (Robert Scheer, Editor Truthdig 30th December.) Saddam Hussein, could have fled the country, prior to the invasion. He stayed, took his chances and ultimately walked to death with dignity. And there are many questions as to his capture by US troops, when apparently hiding in a deep shaft - at Ad Dawr, near Tikrit, on 14th December 2003 - well worthy of scrutiny, but outside the scope of this piece. "We got him." said the ridiculous, desert booted "Viceroy", Paul Bremer, in true Wild West style, who, like Bush and Blair, dare not even walk downtown Baghdad or Basra. The Middle East reveres courage above all else - it's people living it, in orders of magnitude. Had any of these tragic, pathetic little people, shown even an an iota, things might be less of the bloodbath about to come, surely to spread to their own shores, by their own hand. Our Glorious Arab Nation masses! Today the US and its ally Iran have sparked a bomb, whose shrapnel will harvest every plotters and every collaborators in Iraq and outside Iraq, through sentencing to death our Party Secretary general, and Iraq secretary, the President of Iraq and the general Commander of the Armed Forces, the comrade Saddam Hussein (May the Lord save guard him and deliver him from the hands of his bloodthirsty US enemies) imagining that the people of Iraq can be affected by death sentences, that the Baath would kneel and will make any compromise concerning the outcome of the Iraq liberation war and its advance towards the clear cut victory. This decision will be, God willing, and thanks to Iraq sons and daughters, the spark which will burn whatever left for the Occupation, its puppets and its allies, in Iraq! For the dignified people of Iraq has rejected and rejects every attempt to undermine the Arab identity of Iraq, who fought and will combat every one who wants to harm the symbols of Iraq and its detained legitimate leaders. Our Party declares the following: 1- The death sentence is nothing but a US stupid attempt to stop the Resistance intensification, and in order to affect its patriotic and liberation march, when the US failed to find a personality with some weight for compromise on the Resistance Strategic Program and when they failed to infiltrate and wreck the Resistance from the inside.
2- The death sentence took place when an Iraqi patriotic global consensus has come out asserting that the return of his Excellency President Saddam Hussein to government will be the fastest and the guaranteed solution to impose security, stability and independence and dignity return for the people and for the homeland. This consensus was incarnated by more than a thousands messages sent by tribal leaders, personalities and patriotic movements who asked to release the President and his comrades and to his return to the government as he is Iraq legitimate President, plus scores of demonstrations throughout many Iraqi towns in the South as in the Center and in the North, carrying his Excellency the President portraits and shouting 'long live the President". But the Occupation and Iran which both planned to destroy Iraq in order to divide it saw that the return of security and sovereignty to Iraq, as a failure to their plans. For this very reason both Iran and the US have agreed to get rid of the President to prevent the return of security and stability and keep Iraq an arena for the death squads and gangs and give them free hands to burn every thing in the country.
3- The complete failure of the US administration and of every attempt to stay in Iraq due to the amazing intensification of the National Resistance operations against the Occupation and its collaborators, which have forced the enemy to continue deepening the tragedy of the People of Iraq and start to implement a planned fragmentation of the country, even more dangerous and whose spark will be sentencing his Excellency the President to death.
4- The death sentence comes at a time when the Armed Iraqi Revolution has completed the fundamental measures guaranteeing Iraq liberation soon... through building the national Army and get it ready on the terrain, and the announcement of a free and independent Republic of Iraq, by the leadership of the Iraqi Resistance.
5-The death sentence is a consequence of his Excellency the President refusing any compromise with the occupation, rejecting any conditional return to government which violate the sovereignty of Iraq and its national independence.. In fact the Occupation is putting into practice a threat, a US general made to his Excellency the President, to choose between the fate of Mussolini: i. e. death or that of Napoleon: i.e. exile, if he refused the US conditions.
6- The sentence is timed with the US half term legislative elections to help the Republicans in a society which takes pleasure in executions and blood, after losing any hope to prevail. This is why the timing of the sentence two days before the elections is yet another proof that it is an Iranian-US court.
7- The death sentence is nothing but a US attempts to prevent the rising of a strong united and efficient Iraq immediately after the liberation. Yes! Sentencing his Excellency the President to death before the complete collapse of the Occupation has been established on a very precise knowledge that his Excellency as a President in Iraq, will shorten highly the time to restore security, dignity and services and in a few hours... and not in years... and will guarantee the emergence of a strong Iraq participating in the destiny of the region's events as it did and affect it even more than before.. Yes indeed one of the US fundamental and essential US policy is a free, but, a week Iraq easy to control through external pressures and conditions, unable to repulse and resist the return of the US colonialism through the window, after the liberation, when it was expelled through the door of the Armed Resistance. The US plan now, convinced that the liberation is fatally coming, is to accept a weak government which lacks the necessary central polarization components to unify various positions and can take the historical and courageous decisions, due to Saddam Hussein absent influence and efficiency. Ye Resisting Iraqis! These objectives and these US-Iranian and Zionist Entity' axis of evil intentions, however, will never take place, for it is you who dragged the Occupation to its killer failure forcing it to back off and withdraw its project in Iraq and in the region, unless the US plunges the whole area into unending bloody wars.
Based on these facts and realities, our Party ascertains the following:
1- That the people of Iraq which gave birth to Saddam Hussein is able to produce a thousand Saddam Husseins and that Iraq is a generous fertile mother whose womb never stops giving birth with passing years… and that those who watch the Jihad battle field in Iraq, see the tens of thousands of Saddamists combating the Occupation with Saddam Hussein's mentality and courage.. These are the future of Iraq! These are the protectors of Iraq!
2- The Party will never ever make any compromise, it will never back off from Independence and liberation and from the Resistance Strategic Program principles, and mainly the paragraphs concerning holding on to the Resistance until the complete and unconditional withdrawal of the Occupation forces and the return of Iraq complete sovereignty and specially the sovereignty over its natural resources.
3- In case his Excellency the President is sentenced to death, the US must know that there will be no negotiations whatsoever and every single contact will be rejected. Leading the Party hard line to continue the Resistance until destroying the US Empire on the soil of Iraq and not allowing the US forces to withdraw, bleeding the US economically and humanly until it breaks down and until the US' utter collapse.
4- The Party will put into place a national emergency plan specially in Baghdad to complete the crushing of the puppet government, to liquidate the US and Iranian death squads and gangs and achieve its control on parts of Baghdad which are still outside its complete control.
5-The Party announces that it will tighten the blockade of the Green Zone and in every available mean to destroy the US, the CIA and the puppets tools headquarters.
6- The Party encourages the national Iraqi forces to intensify their cooperation, for the death sentence doesn't only target the Baath and its Leadership but also all Iraq and the whole Arab Nation, specially its pan Arab National identity. What is required from the national forces is to show their clear position about what happened today and to condemn it, for it is a decision against the whole Iraqi people and a step forward to establish and intensify hatred for generations...
7- The tribes of Iraq and the religious leaders are required to have a stand of honor in harmony with the messages they sent supporting the President, asking for his release and his return as the President of Iraq and the maker of its security and stability. Today is the day of the word of honor, and you must be ready and those with you, soon, for the days of the decisive victory and liberation.
8- Our Baathist comrades throughout the Arab Nation must carefully remember that their comrades in Iraq are expecting a lot from them since the last four years and above all the immediate and widest masses demonstration to support his Excellency the President and incite the Arab public opinion and the national forces in their countries against his death sentence... More important in the campaign to liberate his Excellency the President and Iraq is to cut down some of their children's bread to support the Resistance and the Party financially! Without that, we will doubt about the Baathism of those who don't help. The real Baathist is the one who expresses his Baathism today in the difficult times and not tomorrow in the days of the plenty.
9- The patriotic and National forces, the well known personalities in the Arab homeland must raise their voices against the death sentence whatever was their position concerning his Excellency and the Baath... For the question today, is not only a question of a Party or a detained President, it is before every thing else the question of the fate of a Nation subject to genocide and the stripping of its national identity. Today Iraq is being destroyed amidst the silence and the complicity of some national educated and Parties, but tomorrow it will be their turn, for if they don't rise their voices defending the President' just cause, that means they abandon clearly their national and patriotic commitments.
Moreover we must talk here about the dangerous stand of those who praise Iran and ask to defend it in the Arab National Congress, inspite of Iran being the US' claw in Iraq and its main tool to destroy it and to wipe out its people. We tell them: you can't put together God the Mercy giving and the demon in your stand, when you hear Iran officially rejoicing about the President death sentence and saying that it wished more than a death sentence.. This is nothing but an evident _expression of animosity against the Arab nation... We expect from these to take into consideration the Iraqis' feelings that lost their homeland and their citizens due to Iran crimes which is, according to their squashing majority, the most dangerous and the first tool to destroy Iraq and to change its Arab identity. Also these should remember an essential truth that Iraq is not less dear than Palestine, and that the Iraqi lives are not less important than their Palestinian brothers' and that the soil of Iraq, the Emirates, the soil of Bahrain and the soil of Al Ahwaz are not less Arab and valuable than the land of Palestine. Therefore the coming period will be a test for you concerning the Nation Causes as they are interconnected and linked vitally to each other.
It is impossible for those who defend Palestine to be sincere if they abandon Iraq as a soil and as a people for Iran's beautiful eyes and its Arab links. It is time to take the right position and make choices, for the mutual enemy, the US, Iran and the Zionist Entity didn't let us any other choice except that to confirm or deny the belonging of some to the Nation and to its destiny causes, regardless of any national or human distinction between favoring any Arab cause on the other on basis we still ignore, but try seriously to comprehend!
Ye heroes of the intrepid Iraqi Armed Forces! Today you are the loyal to the freedom and the liberation of Iraq and the dignity of its women; its suffering people is looking towards you, for you are the generous nursing breasts of the Resistance, you are the striking force which has defeated the US! Soon, in the day of liberation, you will rise and execute the orders of your command to liberate Iraq and to be completely in control of all its soil and its security, protecting its citizens and snatching back its sovereignty. But before all that get prepared to liberate his Excellency the President as the fundamental objective to protect the liberation of Iraq from any attempt to empty it from its essence and basis which are the complete sovereignty over the homeland as soil, resources, and destiny.
Long live Saddam Hussein, a leader for Iraq, the engineer and the designer of its Armed Revolution!
